Hi all,
Please can I get thoughts on this. I’m moving jobs in the next few months and will be spending 3 nights at my partners every fortnight ? He wants what would be a monthly rental ? Is this fair ? Thoughts please ?

But your not a tenant sleeping in a different room. Tell him to get another tenant and you won't visit his house again.

mindutopia · 04/06/2025 16:42

But have you never spent the night at each other’s houses before?

Surely, that’s called dating. You stay with each other a few nights a week. That probably does end up being 6 nights a month. You cook for each other and treat each other to nights out.

It’s called dating. It’s not a business arrangement.

£750 🤣 no chance, surely you will be sharing his bed, he can get another lodger

Dweetfidilove · 04/06/2025 19:06

I'm quite late, but I guess he's been dumped by now so no advice needed 😔.

Well, he wasn't dumped when he was leering at all her friends décolletages so I for one am simply awaiting the next installment.

Oh crap, he's a wrong un all round then ☹️.

Maybe when OP goes broke paying for 2 properties he'll dump her 🤷🏾‍♀️. Crikey.

She won’t. In her previous thread where he ogles her friends breasts in front of her she said she won’t be single as she gets too lonely so she’ll sadly tolerate this twat rather than be without a man

Oh Jesus be some self-esteem. Come on OP.

Potteryblue · 04/06/2025 21:52

This type of behaviour is never in isolation.
Dozens of red flags flapping yet sadly some women cannot be without a man.

I have always found meanness to be a straight link to other disordered, dishonest, and dishonourable behaviour.

To be avoided.
Meanness goes to the very core of a person's character.

StMarie4me · 04/06/2025 21:55

£750!! I thought you were going to say £150 or something.
Nah - sack that off!

He had a tenant leave so I’d say he’s trying to get a win win situation

You get yourself a win win situation and dump his ars€, please. Leave him a note from all of us on this thread.
Hotel will be cheaper
