I feel really upset over this and it’s stupid I know . But basically I’ve had three babies ( including one with said partner ) I’ve suffered from terrible self confidence issues regarding my lady part ( have a slight prolapse and obviously it’s changed a lot since births etc like no matter how much I do pelvic floors it makes no difference) so I feel like it’s horrible and there’s not much I can do about it , HE KNOWS all this . Anyway while I was in hospital last week my partner out of nowhere just said “ my vagina scares him !??” What the hell does that mean ? He wouldn’t elaborate just said it’s MEATY !?? Wtf . I’m now really annoyed to the point I don’t even want him to touch me now . AIBU ???

A similiar thing happened to me with my ex. He told me that all men want a 'tight one' with no flab and that I needed surgery.

"ex"
Good.

I cannot imagine my H ever seeking to body shame or demean me like this. Especially not about something he knew I was sensitive about. Especially after I had given birth to his child. It’s just unthinkable.

Who are these despicable and utterly lacking men?

The thing that most confuses me about them, is that they always seem to be able to get someone else, which confuses me if they are despicable. After my ex's comment to me I honestly thought everyone did have perfect vaginas! This is an eye opener for me!

So are you dating Jay from The Inbetweeners?

Honestly, when I saw the title my first thought was "Vagina dentata?"

He's pathetic.

Me too {Vagina dentata myth} silly man.

No we don’t live together x

Lucky. Very easy to get rid of him as a partner then. Difficult to be in a relationship with someone who is scared of your body parts and finds you disgusting.

Can't see him being able to get past that and it wont do your confidence and self-esteem any good to stay with him.

Vagina Dentata, the ultimate male horror. Sorry, I doubt he'll improve, OP, get ready to upscale without him.

I thought vagina dentata too. Wonder if he's seen this film? https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/teeth

Teeth | Rotten Tomatoes

Dawn (Jess Weixler) is an active member of her high-school chastity club but, when she meets Tobey (Hale Appleman), nature takes its course, and the pair answer the call. They suddenly learn she is a living example of the vagina dentata myth, when the...

I worry sometimes. My husband tells me that he can’t tell any difference between now and when we didn’t have children, that I have absolutely nothing to worry about and he loves having sex with me.
I’m sure the first point is absolute bollocks, but I appreciate him sparing my feelings and reassuring me.
Find someone mature and decent op. There are plenty of self aware men out there, who aren’t just cruel.

girljulian · 12/02/2025 14:01

Gross. Bet his penis looks like a mouldy hotdog.

AdoraBell · 12/02/2025 14:04

He sounds grim OP I would tell him that his personality is digesting.

Giggorata · 12/02/2025 14:06

Do you need this misogynistic immature little twerp in your bed? house? Life?
I hope not.
If man said anything like that to me, he would be messaged to collect his packed bags.
Nasty and beyond unacceptable.

Exactly, I agree, and most people say it doesn't change much at all, no more than it would just getting older without dcs. Even if it has a little, what a complete horrible comment. He obviously hasn't seen a vagina before!

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm · 12/02/2025 14:10

Tell him he is, in fact, the epitome of a horrible c*

3678194b · 12/02/2025 14:10

Wow what a loser. You have birthed your children together and he has the audacity to say this. Show him these responses and see what he thinks.

Newfoundzestforlife · 12/02/2025 14:10

Tell him his willy would be scary if it wasn't so laughable.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Yes, he hasn't given birth, so what is his excuse on the appearance of his penis, he needs to grow some balls for starters.

BeachRide · 12/02/2025 14:14

Billy Connolly talked about men's tackle looking like something you'd usually see hanging out the side of a shark's mouth. Aside from that, what a horrible, immature thing to say. What's it like having four children, OP?

cruisetipz · 12/02/2025 14:16

Ask him to push 3 babies out of his arsehole and see what that looks like after. I like the pointing and laughing at his pecker too!

BrainWontWorkAnymore · 12/02/2025 14:16

@Meeemeee88 get him one of those silicon vagina sex toys delivered to him with a delivery message “As my vagina has now slammed shut and entry to you is barred, I thought you might need this.”

5128gap · 12/02/2025 14:17

You really should leave him OP. Insulting a woman's genitals is a sign of very serious misogyny. He has used revolting language to shame you for what is uniquely female about you.

Princessconsuelabananahammock9 · 12/02/2025 14:18

I have not birthed children and I have a “ meaty “ vagina. I think it’s bloody gorgeous.

Any one that could be that cruel to you does not need access you.

Were you living together before? I think he needs to stay somewhere else permanently.

Cornflakes123 · 12/02/2025 14:19

Meeemeee88 · 12/02/2025 13:10

I think I feel more insecure as he’s an extremely good looking guy and I know for fact he’s been with ALOT of extremely attractive women so I feel like he compares me . I’m the only person who’s had kids that he’s slept with

That comment is such a hurtful one I have to question if he said it deliberately to make you feel crap about yourself. Perhaps he is insecure himself.

Gingerkittykat · 12/02/2025 14:19

Is it possible he is scared of hurting you since you have got a prolapse?
