Why do men who “don’t want kids” end up having one with the next woman they meet

Any ideas? Known of several who are adamant they never want children only to get into a relationship with someone else and have them… I’m sure sometimes unplanned pregnancies but often planned too.

It’s not just men. I was adamant I didn’t want any children until i met my husband. Told all of my boyfriends it was absolutely out of the question, I was a career woman. I had 3 children and gave up work to raise them 🤷‍♀️

One boyfriend actually told me I’d change my mind when I met the right person ie I just didn’t want children with him 🤣. He was right.

They changed their mind or at least lost the desire to be childfree.

Women change their minds as well but we just don't have the luxury of choice into old age.

I think because men get constantly harassed about having children children when they’re with their current partner it possibly drives them apart. And by the time they get their next partner they have dropped their guard. And they are not paying attention. Or easily sucker punched. Going from a tense situation to completely relaxed and unguarded. Ergo it happens. My own personal situation was that of having a cheating wife who came back with a couple of std’s and then pregnant. Once I got shot of her I started to feel happier and yes it happened twice . Fist girl decided against and the second one the child died inside her 7 months and 2 weeks. I was living in Paris at the time so we ended up with the doctors preparing to remove the baby the next day . Bit of a bad night that. Next day I went into the hospital with her and the theatre . At the beginning. I became a little overwhelmed and had to wait in the hospital corridor.
tough times then . My French wasn’t so good and hard to understand
