Bedsheets and sex

I'm currently enjoying a new relationship, and we're having a lot of sex 🙂... every night we're together. I've not had that for a very long time!

Do those of you lucky enough to be in my position change your bedsheets every night (like I currently do), or put up with a "wet patch" and crusty sheets the next evening, or do something different (I used to put a towel down in my last relationship but sex was more planned then - now it's spontaneous and stopping to go get a towel kinda breaks the mood!)

I've only got two sheets and with work and other pressures, one of these days I'm. It going to have a clean sheet to put on! I may have to buy more! I can't be the only one with this dilemma.

Could you keep the sex towel by the bed?

😂

Mycatsarethebest · 31/01/2024 17:48

or yourself?

newtlover · 31/01/2024 17:45

eh what? you can't flush tissues????

That's right, they don't dissolve like toilet roll.

Shiningout · 31/01/2024 17:49

Can people really not work this shit out for themselves 😐😐 this must be a stealth boast because this is ridiculous 😂

NextOnePlease · 31/01/2024 17:51

How can people not work this out for themselves? How do they cope with things in life if they can work out how to stop it getting on the sheets or decide for themselves when their sheets need washing?

Or is this just someone wanting to get women to talk about this? Weird whichever it is.

LorlieS · 31/01/2024 17:51

@FloralnomadWhen you say "We both get given a tissue..." Does someone pass you it?! 😆

Keep some toilet roll by the bed or pop to the toilet and wipe down.

Or use a condom

WhatWillAPearDoAtNight · 31/01/2024 17:54

We use a wodge of loo roll and I sort of catch any wetness as it comes out 🤣 works really well actually!!

Have you considered sex on the dining table?

Why do I never get invited to these kind of dinner parties?

In all honesty, the food is never that good.

If I'd had a mouthful of tea, I'd have splurted it out at that comment. Not from my vag, you understand. 😬

I'm so confused by the idea that shagging in the kitchen on the worktop is somehow less gross and germy than shagging in a bed 🤣

Even the wettest patch will dry one day.

I've got that on a poster above the bed 🥰

You should have that cross-stitched and framed! 🤣😂🤣

Yeah. I can’t help but think this is written by someone who sleeps alone on a dirty mattress with no sheets at all. 😉

Mycatsarethebest · 31/01/2024 18:02

@altmember I know of someone who did it under the table at a dinner party while others sat around. It wasn't her H either.

Somatosensational · 31/01/2024 18:02

One of the perks of being single is being able to get between beautifully clean and dry sheets each night. LTB.

BeauSignoles · 31/01/2024 18:02

“The room will smell of semen and bum if the bedding isn't changed and room aired. One solution is sex in the bathroom or a large towel on chair or standing up quicky.”

I can’t stop laughing 😂

Well if it was the OP and her bloke, you'd all have got your shoes wet.

puddypud · 31/01/2024 18:04

Hate it when my room smells of bum.

Mycatsarethebest · 31/01/2024 18:05

Buminess 😤

2anddone · 31/01/2024 18:05

Of course I can work this out for myself... I'm currently changing the sheets each time but that felt excessive, so I wanted to know what others did.

As for me being someone using this thread for kicks... I can't see how discussing whether I should be changing bedsheets daily is something anyone would be turned on by!

I would change the bed. Dribbles abd leaks affect the duvet too, plus 2 sweaty bodies, pillows sweaty and musty.
My DC would want to climb into my bed, Id hate their bare feet or hands touch sexual liquids. The room will smell of semen and bum if the bedding isn't changed and room aired. One solution is sex in the bathroom or a large towel on chair or standing up quicky.

Bum? Why would the bed smell of bum?

flusterbluff · 31/01/2024 18:11

KnittedCardi · 31/01/2024 17:15

Surely everyone keeps tissues by the bed? No? Grab a tissue, shove it up your vag, hobble to the bathroom.

This

Have you considered the use of doilies?

Too many holes.
