Bedsheets and sex

I'm currently enjoying a new relationship, and we're having a lot of sex 🙂... every night we're together. I've not had that for a very long time!

Do those of you lucky enough to be in my position change your bedsheets every night (like I currently do), or put up with a "wet patch" and crusty sheets the next evening, or do something different (I used to put a towel down in my last relationship but sex was more planned then - now it's spontaneous and stopping to go get a towel kinda breaks the mood!)

I've only got two sheets and with work and other pressures, one of these days I'm. It going to have a clean sheet to put on! I may have to buy more! I can't be the only one with this dilemma.

A good mattress protector and change the sheets once a week, unless you are going to share the bed with someone else.

Actually you're probably right and it's just residual dampness... It only really drizzles out when i'm on my feet soon afterwards and he's "deposited" a big load having not seen him for a few days.

Doesn't the wet patch mostly come from the woman??

Based on responses it seems to vary. It's definitely immediately after his orgasm, and it's obviously semen, so for us, it's mainly him...

It seems there's a lot of variability from the posts on here, with some people perplexed that there's anything at all! However, most seem to recognise some need for "cleaning up".

Not at all... I was actually hoping for validation that I wouldn't be being scuzzy by not changing my sheets every time!

I think a towel on hand to mop up will probably suffice, and feel ok now about not changing things if there's not much mess, so thank you all, your responses have helped.

Glad this thread has entertained - and there's me wondering at first if there would be any replies!

Sex on the kitchen worktops is so much easier to wipe up. I'd recommend that.

Or as someone upthread suggested a trip to IKEA, lots of beds there, and if you are quick no one will notice you…….
