Bedsheets and sex

I'm currently enjoying a new relationship, and we're having a lot of sex 🙂... every night we're together. I've not had that for a very long time!

Do those of you lucky enough to be in my position change your bedsheets every night (like I currently do), or put up with a "wet patch" and crusty sheets the next evening, or do something different (I used to put a towel down in my last relationship but sex was more planned then - now it's spontaneous and stopping to go get a towel kinda breaks the mood!)

I've only got two sheets and with work and other pressures, one of these days I'm. It going to have a clean sheet to put on! I may have to buy more! I can't be the only one with this dilemma.

Of course I can work this out for myself... I'm currently changing the sheets each time but that felt excessive, so I wanted to know what others did.

Tbf, you apparently haven’t managed to find away around it, despite it being fairly easy so obviously you can’t work it out.

As for me being someone using this thread for kicks... I can't see how discussing whether I should be changing bedsheets daily is something anyone would be turned on by!

I can see what the pp is getting at, there have been past perv threads talking about this that have been deleted, not before lots of women have shared lots of info. Just saying.

Probably risk outing myself here, but I can’t resist sharing this wee gem.

I first started dating my now DH way back in the 90s. He was still living at home and had coloured bed sheets (this is a relevant detail). His clean freak mother used to make his bed everyday, just so (think army standards) and inspect the sheets. She made a fuss everyday and insisted on changing them daily.

When DH told me I thought he was taking the piss. At dinner, he said something along the lines of ‘I was telling happymam about the sheets…’ and MIL wholeheartedly agreed.

And when we went to his room, there it was: the sex towel. Neatly folded by the bed.

Oh come on mate, laundry's not what folks are talking about 🙄

Clearly I'm skanky 😂 because it wouldn't occur to me to change the sheets. I just live with it until the sheets need changing.

It's more people discussing sticking tissue up their vag etc I think, not so much the laundry aspect a pervo would be getting off on.

Anyone who's changed beds in a hotel will know the sex smell. It's a real thing. I'd add sweat to the semen bum odour 🤢. Get your windows open 😷

@TheBayLady penis beaker is a Mumsnet classic thread from years ago where a poster asked how do people clean themselves after sex...a poster mentioned they have a penis beaker by the bed for the husband to dunk into...the thread is a thing of legends I will try to find it for you

Well, yes, but I didn't expect this thread to take off like it had! I started it expecting a few replies just advising towels or not to worry about changing sheets etc.
