Some fake account has messaged me on instagram.
to tell me my husband paid for a prostitute when on a recent stag do in Marbella!
what the fuck do I do!?!!!!!???

@Mumma2Ro It sounds like this person has a fair few correct details though? Where he’s been abroad, mates names etc. Not saying that these things are never a hoax but out of every story like this I’ve been told/heard/experienced the majority have truth to them. Sorry but it does sound like he’s been up to no good. Can you not tell him face to face (without forewarning) that you know what he did in Marbella and see what his reaction tells you? An innocent reaction would be him wanting and actively trying to get to the bottom of this to show you this isn’t true. Also, see if he offers his phone without question and if he does - take it! It’s a common thing where they try and call your bluff and think if they offer you something like a phone that’s enough to show their innocent and they depend on you not taking it.

Can you pump her for more info OP?

I suspect PP are correct and it’s the partner of one of the group who has fessed up all the antics. Also agree you need to get STI check ☹️

If he has been on a recent stag do to Marbella then it's not a hoax. That detail is too specific for it to be completely random spam they send to everyone or something.

I can't imagine all prostitutes would insist on using condoms. Condoms are not 100% at providing protection against STIs either.

A staggering amount of men will use a prostitute, even those that you think are sweet.
I’ve served in the forces and it’s amazing how many men do it.

It sounds a bit much. If it was wife or girlfriend of someone else there i can understand an anonymous message. But what you describe is a random women who got told some second hand info then tracked you down. It is a bit strange, l would ask dh but I think/hope she may be lying.

I think more likely someone who knows you both and knows where he went for the weekend and is spiteful and trying to cause a row. Unless he’s done anything similar before.

Someone who knows you is giving you the heads up. It's either one of the guys or a wife/partner.

How long ago was it? Have you slept with him since?

No one can possibly assure you that a prostitute would insist on condoms. And even if they did, it doesn't protect you from everything.
