Why is this in relationships when it's about a crime? The poor woman wasn't in a relationship with her killer.

14 years. I really hoped he'd get a lot more. Didn't a poster up thread say the minimum for murder is 15 years?

He's been given a life sentence.

He's been given life with a minimum of 15 years, however the amount of time he has spent on remand has been taken from the 15 years. The judge stressed that 15 years is the minimum and he might not be released at that point.

the judge started at a minimum of 15 years , took a year off for a mitigating factor (I think because he only kicked/stamped once and it wasn’t a premeditated crime ? I’m sorry I need to listen back to the sentencing again )
and he took off the time he’s been in remand already
so a minimum of around 13 and a half years and then it’s up to the parole board and he’ll be on licence for ever
I hope they never let him out

Too low in my opinion. Needs to be 21 years or more.

I actually believe in cases like this they should be put down like a dangerous dog! People like him are obviously very badly damaged somehow.
