How old were you when you met the father/mother of your children?

Question is in the title really. It feels like until you're 26ish, people say you are too young for children. Then the narrative changes overnight, people ask if you are thinking about it. After 30, your 'clock is ticking'.

It's no one else's business but I can't be the only woman who panics about having left it too late, while not really knowing 100% if I evenn want kids - but worrying that by the time I do, if I do, it will be too late.

21. First DC at 28 and second at 31

I was 18, he was 19, at Uni. We got together when I was 23 and had our first dc at 26. We have been together for 18 years.

Met when I was 18 and he was 30. Had first dd at 19, second at 34 after years of unexplained infertility and then third child born at 39....with a grandson who was born when I was 41.
Been together 31 years this year!!

22, had our first child when i was 32

I was 24 when I met DH who was 22. Had baby at 26, married at 27. Still happily together 15 yrs later.

I was 40, he was 31. We had DD when I was 41 and DS when I was 43 and got married when I was 47, 5 years ago.

Met at 11 at secondary school. Became boyfriend & girlfriend at 15. Now 32.

Met him when I was 37, married at 38 and pregnant at 39.

24 and had child at 32

We met when I was 18, got together when I was 22, married when I was 31 and had children when I was 34. It's not something you can plan. I certainly expected to have a few more years of fun before settling down but I fell in love at 22 and that was that.

Lived together at 20.
Married at 21.
2 sons together.
Still married (almost 43 years)

Met a month before I turned 31, engaged at 32, married at 33, pregnant at 34, had DC1 at 35. Things move faster in your 30s.

17, he was 23 - we got married when I was 21.

Oh and I was 28 when I had my son after lots of IVF and miscarriages!

I had mine at 21, 23 and 24. I met their dad when I was 18

I'm the 2nd eldest of 3, one sister has no children and has been married for around 7 years, the other has been married around 5 years and has just had a baby. We're all in our 30's now.
