How old were you when you met the father/mother of your children?

Question is in the title really. It feels like until you're 26ish, people say you are too young for children. Then the narrative changes overnight, people ask if you are thinking about it. After 30, your 'clock is ticking'.

It's no one else's business but I can't be the only woman who panics about having left it too late, while not really knowing 100% if I evenn want kids - but worrying that by the time I do, if I do, it will be too late.

26 when we met
30 when we got engaged
31 when we got married
32 got pregnant

32. Had first baby at 34, second at 35.

25 first child at 27. Still together 20 years later luffes him.

22 and he was 20. Married when I was 25 and he was 22. Had DC1 when I was 27 and he was 24, currently working on DC2 and I am 34 and he is 31.

DH and I are the same age- met at 22, married at 26, had DS at 30- intentionally- we waited until 30 to TTC. Now in our 50's so no more DC!

I was 15 when we got together but knew of him for years before because he was the year above me at school.

Met aged 22. Married at 26. First baby 31, second baby 33.

Met at 18, married at 22, had our children when I was 23, 29 and 32

I was 28. Had our first at 32 and currently pregnant with number 2 at 36.

I was 29. We married when I was 33, first baby at 34 and our second and last baby when I was 37. We'd both had long term relationships before and I wrongly felt when I was turning 29 and single I was 'on the shelf!'

17. Got together aged 18 and baby aged 26

I was 27 when we first met married when I was 29 had our first at 30 and then second at 32.

19, but didn't date till I was 20. Married 6 months later, children at 24 and 25. That was 30 plus years ago though. Different times.

17...still with him...41 years later. First DC at 29...second at 36...we married young but decided to hold off having children as both going to university and building careers.
TBH is really wasn't sure if I ever wanted children as never had that 'need to have them feeling', but I dont regret having them and I guess we were lucky that we didn't have issues conceiving.
