How old were you when you met the father/mother of your children?

Question is in the title really. It feels like until you're 26ish, people say you are too young for children. Then the narrative changes overnight, people ask if you are thinking about it. After 30, your 'clock is ticking'.

It's no one else's business but I can't be the only woman who panics about having left it too late, while not really knowing 100% if I evenn want kids - but worrying that by the time I do, if I do, it will be too late.

Met at 24 but didn’t start a relationship for a couple of years after that and had children in our 30’s

22, first child at 34, last at 37. Took 10 years to conceive #1 then they came fast.

Met at 19, married 7 years later then took another 4 years to have kids but that included a year or so at fertility clinic. That really focused my mind about wanting kids when I was on the fence about having kids when we got married.

18. He was a mature (26) student at the uni I was about to attend. DM knew him as he went into her shop regularly and we stopped to speak to him in the street one day. I changed unis and didn't see him again until I was 23 and he was 31 through a shared interest. We were going out with other people but when that went by the wayside we got together. Got married when we were 29 and 37. DS born when we were 31 and 39.

We first met when I was 19 but got together when I was 25

18 - we dated on and off until we got married when i was 29.

18 and he was 21.

Had my first child at 22, second at 25

16, but we didn't have kids until we'd been together almost a decade.

I met DH when I was 23 but didn't have any interest in him until a year later.

I was 33. He was 24. Baby at 41. He was 33. I love the symmetry.

Met him at 21, had our first child when I was 35.

Met him at work at 24. We got together at 27. First child at 31.

We were both 21 . Ahh fun times the best of my life.😁 We often sit and reminisce about all the escapades .
