"I wouldn't get offended if two men made a similar joke (although this joke doesn't really work does it)."
Why doesn't it work? Is it because you don't think women have similar kinks or because you can't trap a vagina in a door?
"If its funny & good natured, then I laugh."
Fair enough. I just don't think the reception for a similar joke made by two men about woman would be tolerated here for a second.
"Plenty of comedian's make dark humoured jokes, about sensitive topics, if it's funny i.e has a genuine "punchline" and not just blatant woman hating under the guise of a joke, then i don't mind it at all."
I don't recall a single joke made by a professional comedian which had a punchline which involved recommending hurting a woman in a sexual manner, even if it wasn't seriously intended. There maybe some out there but I still don't see the general response being favourable, certainly not in most mainstream media outlets or on feminist sites.
Do you remember the time a few years ago when Sharon Osborne laughed on TV about a story where a man had his dick chopped off and put in a waste disposal unit? There was some backlash of course but she didn't lose her job. In fact she only lost her job after she defended Piers Morgan over comments about Meghan Markle.
Now imagine a story in which a man cut off his wife/girlfriend's clitoris or breasts and shoved those in a waste disposal and a male star laughed about it on TV. Do you think he would have kept his job for long?
