Mr S came round last night. I felt oddly shy after the Viagra fail and our "fight". It was like rewinding to some previous stage of this thing, just drinking tea and chatting while sitting very close.

Finally (when it was the time he ought to have left) he kissed me and we made out a bit. Then my daughter woke up sick and crying and ended up seeing him (with some warning). So she knows of his existence now.

@HowlongWillThisTakeNow im kind of wondering how contact lenses can be put in and taken out! Without scratching the eyeball! They do look amazing though and Im really tempted, it’s my bday next week and going on holiday, so would be nice!! 💗

Hahahaha Adventures with Alice saga. Love it. It did feel like a saga!! We were talking about bands we'd seen and I've of course been to gigs with exes but I focus on that as part of the story.

Interesting!! I'll admit I'm a jealous type too. Having an amicable relationship with a long term ex seems alien to me, like I don't have my exes but I'm not exactly thrilled at what they did or how they handled things.

@Heartbeats0708 oh no it wasn't a recent gig they went to, this was when they were together. If they spent time together after they'd broken up I'd be rather more on edge... But that's just me.

Also I'd recommend gel overlays for your nails! Keeps your nails relatively natural whilst strengthening them, but you can have all the fun colours and designs that you'd have on acrylic nails too. Plus it's usually cheaper 😎

I use a Mylee at home gel nail kit ;) Much less harsh than a salon manicure and lasts just as long!

I don't think I've updated for a week or so... I've been pretty distracted with Music Man. I totally have the butterflies. We didn't see each other for a couple of days while I've had a minor op and recovery. He was checking in a lot to make sure I was OK. He is an utter sweetheart. He came over last night and we just can't get enough of each other. It's definitely mutual. I would never ever have given him a chance in the past - never considered dating anyone younger before. I'm prepared to eat my words, because he's just great so far.

My biggest concern is that he doesn't like fish. That is his biggest personality flaw so far.

I need someone to pull me back down to Earth!

that’s very specific, a particular species ? cod, carp, haddock, tuna, fishy fingers ( never seen a fish wearing gloves, how odd it that) or just all fish ?
what about fish & chips, lovely, or does that cover all seafood ? Jellied eels 🤢

how about Prawns, everyone loves a Prawn Cocktail right?, not sure about the crisps, those are pretty grim.

My one is vegetarian, so I understand your concern re the fish situation. (Recently, I was even driven to buy Italian hard cheese in lieu of real parmesan!) The things we do for love.

In other news, I have dropped Mr Fruit …it’s too much hassle and I prefer someone in London/ Surrey.
I got a new iron instead apart from Mr Smiles. Mr J looks very straightforward…early to tell.
Mr Silverfox keeps messaging but now…my heart is not on this. I will still try to meet him and post what the big secret is… I am sure he’s either married, or homeless and living with mum…

I've been working out what to call my irons. There's Mr Postie who is just a FWB. Lovely guy but it's definitely not a romantic thing between us! I also now have a new FWB as he's not ready for a relationship, calling him Mr Nerd as he is a self confessed nerd and likes playing DnD. Will also be having date zero (still getting used to the terminology on here!) with Mr Wizard (called so because he has a replica of Gandalf's sword 😂) on Friday. Also talking to numerous others who I won't name because it's all getting confusing enough!

@Mila14 not really because I'm open with all of them about who I'm seeing. I prefer it that way and vice versa if they are seeing anyone else. Are you going anywhere nice? I find people can be so different to their photos and messages. Mr Nerd is better looking in real life and he's not my usual type but he's so genuinely lovely I can't help but like him!

You guys put me to shame with how much grooming some of you do! I don’t wax, never had nails done, eyebrows done, the most I do is cut my hair once or twice a year and wear makeup. Saves me money 😀
