Husband messaged girl at work

Checked husbands phone and he has saved a girls number with hearts said “I haven’t stopped thinking about you” asked when she wants to go out for a meal.

Also wrote “morning gorgeous”

He isn’t sorry he’s very defensive saying I am sneaky because I went through his phone (true) but I am bloody glad I did. He even called me a bitch because I did it behind his back.

I’m disgusted. We have been having problems but I said multiple times if you don’t want this let me know.

Honestly, in the day of internet searching most OW know that there’s a wife. This one works with him, of course she knows there’s a wife. Probably young children as well.

I’m not disparaging OW here (although personally not a fan) but the idea that there are poor naive women being ‘lied to’ is just nonsense. She’s not being taken on dates like any ‘normal’ flourishing relationship. Red flags would be waving in her face if she was totally unaware!

Where men get away with it, is they claim separation, unhappiness, that their wife just doesn’t understand them like the OW. It’s a tale as old as time! It’s time women woke up to this narrative and don’t choose to fall for it just because it suits them too.

As for him, what an absolute slime ball. His selfishness and entitlement shines through, nasty nasty man.

Yep me too, I think it's bollocks that the OW doesn't know or at least have an inkling about him having a wife and young children, you can find out anything these days, if it was 1990 then yes it's more likely but not now with social media, zoom calls, Instagram fgs, plus she works at the same place so she would have known SOMETHING about him before all of this.

You don't need "intel" for a divorce. You go to a solicitor, you tell them you want to divorce on grounds of unreasonable behaviour and you start from there.

You can 'separate ' and still live in the same house. Stop doing any cooking, washing, cleaning, etc for him. He doesn't get to dictate how your future lies, it is your choice.

Yes, I am in America, and thought that people know what an attorney is, just as I know what a solicitor is.

Real issue - I hope OP sorts out her situation with some legal help.
