I know this may sound weird, but from this image does this look like it's in a hotel.
I know it's a bit hard to tell but all opinions are very much welcome.

Is this a hotel ?

I think it looks like those elderly people homes, independent living flats for the elderly the ones with a warden on call.

Does look a bit like an elderly living type of place. Mum has a lay out like that.

Could equally be a cheapish hotel

Oh my gosh OP please leave this man ASAP and start divorce proceedings. Becoming a live in cater is a great idea as suggested be a previous poster.

This man is 100% using you for a visa. Nigeria is extremely well known for this and romance scams. His whole family will be in on it as you’re their golden ticket.

You deserve more than this.

Looks like an office to me. Our offices have door closers and fire instructions on the doors. In the same building, there is a beautician who is on the ground floor. Our alarms are set when the door locks so she has an additional flimsy sliding lock on her door just in case anyone walks in during say a waxing session as she couldn't use the normal lock. I think others probably have some sort of additional lock too if they're in on their own - I actually think a key chain would be an idea for my office - could it be somwhere like that?

Yes because of everything around the door area (some kind of poster/info thing) and the fire door type hinge at the top. If not a hotel a shared living space like a student accommodation where they need fire doors

You need to tell people you know what is happening and leave him. It sounds like your wedding was not a proper wedding from his point of view so maybe you can get it annulled. He has tricked you. You should tell whoever deals with Visas and immigration

This "it's DEFINITELY a hotel!" stuff, is ridiculous. Yes it looks like a hotel room, but it also looks like it could be a workplace. The pictures on the wall don't look like a hotel

Where is he meant to be?

The chain on the door is unusual for a hotel and it is difficult to see the lock, but the automatic closing for fire safety and notice on back of the door are usual in flats too.

Just to throw my two penneth in to say when i have lived in temporary accommodation (not hotel or b n b but sort of bedsit flat type rooms) they have had fire escape instructions on the doors like hotels do. They also had a peepholey door and a deadbolt thing but no chain. I think it would be very unusual for your dh to be in that type of place if he doesn't live in one or isn't very close to someone who does though. When i say very close i mean like carer or something. I don't think i was supposed to have visitors at all save for carers . I hope your okay op x

Yes mandatory fire instructions on the back of the door. Automatic closer on the fire regulation door. What looks like an air conditioning unit above the door and finally an en-suite bathroom door on the right.

Could also be a hostile, hospital room, mens refuge, treatment room, doctors surgery, dentists or many other similar publicly accessible places.
