Found HIV testing kit in hubby’s bag!

Ok, so DH has been a little withdrawn for several weeks. Not sure what came over me but decided to have a nose through his work hold-all. I’ve come across an unopened HIV kit. What the hell is going on? How do I approach him when he’s home later today?

He's cheating. Trust your gut on this and sling him out after you've done some digging of course.

If he's been getting tested regularly, he'll be able to prove that by showing you the emailed/texted/lettered results.

Then you can address 'why' ... as he is not showing the symptoms the overwhelming majority of health anxious people demonstrate.

I truly can't see why if he has such an anxiety he's hiding it.
Sometimes the most obvious explanation is what it is, IMO he fears he has recently been exposed to HIV and is taking a test to confirm a negative/positive result.

@bigbeatmanifesto

Not to mention that surely if he did have such an anxiety, it would have been patently obvious from the very start of the relationship as soon as it became sexual?

They're married, and yet she had no idea about this 'health anxiety' of his?

I find it unbelievable.

100% agree this anxiety he has, if so severe would apply to both of them in a sexual relationship if he hasn't asked her to take a test previously then it adds to the suspect behaviour.

I'd also understand testing after such an incident albeit far fetched but still taking a precautionary test for a clear cut answer,
but to continue testing is just weird.

@PocketRocket81
I do hope you got a clearer answer and have got tested yourself.
