The whole thing is absurd and there is likely another reason but he won't say. Even a 'I'm just not feeling it' would have been better than an issue with his dog.

What's going on - I feel like I'm in some weird parallel dating universe. He said he could never sleep with a cat and would always be worried his dog was being put second best. FML.

I mean I love my dog to bits and wouldn’t pursue a relationship with someone who couldn’t love her, but this guy is just weird!

I think if he liked you enough you could have worked round the issue...either you only visiting him or him only doing shorter visits to you or a dog sitter.

I assume he'll update his dating profile to say 'no women with cats' 😂

To be fair, if I ever got another dog I would probably pick it over a woman, after all a dog is a man’s best friend 😂😂

@curmudgeonly007 I think people should pick pets over partners but bangs situation is bizarre because the weekend before when he knew she had cats he wanted her to be his girlfriend🤷‍♀️

He's clearly been stewing on it for a while! Seriously though. What a complete dick! It's almost better that he's come out with something so rediculous because at least you can laugh about it.

Please please dont let him back in if he has an epiphany as he’s showing himself to be uncontrolled (rushing into things too quick in the first place) and unstable (chatting bolloxs about his traumatised dog).
