Ex- Wife won't leave us alone

My partner of 3 years ex wife (divorced 6 months) will not leave us be.
They have two children together, so of course they need to be in regular contact.
However if she hears from the children that we have plans, she will do anything in her power to stop us from enjoying ourselves.
Any advice welcome. Perhaps an insight, from an ex wife?

Ex wives have no insight to why his ex wife behaves as she does. What I would say is that a bitter disruptive Ex will have a negative impact on your relationship.

Having your relationship controlled in part by someone who isn't in the relationship is madness. This isn't what you should have to put up with. If there's an emergency and she needs him to have the kids, that's one thing, but not chopping and changing at the drop of a hat.

@1992serpent

Walk away from the relationship and find someone who doesn't have a crazy ex or is childless. I would never get with a guy with so much baggage.
These "baggage" comments are offensive coming from a single mum who would eventually like to meet someone myself. Are individuals with children not fit for dating/new relationships? Why should OP not be with her partner just because he has children from a previous relationship? He could be a really good person, divorcing shouldn't mean no one should ever find love again. Sounds like his exP is making things hard work, but she should deep down be thankful her ex husband is with someone who equally loves her children and will look after them. I hope she stops making your life hard soon OP! ATB x

@ PolkadotGiraffe it is possible. We too had a separation agreement before we went our separate ways. Waited for 2 years for divorce then actually it was a while after before legally divorced.

Op I feel for you. I can not deal with needy bitter ex’s nor soft men who allow their ex’s to be “best friends” or not man enough not to have boundaries for ex.
