Oh dear!. Well apparently all the hot cyclists are only out at the weekend, not seen a single one on my walk. I'm contemplating "falling over" in front of one of their bikes on Sunday morning, maybe I'll get a date that way.

Mr Navy is still messaging, but my heart isnt it at all...hes asked me all sorts of questions, which is refreshing, and last night he asked what would I like to know about him, and I actually didnt want to know anything! I just couldn't think of anything to ask, I was finding it all a bit "stiff", if you know what I mean, so I was awful and never replied, then later he sent me a goodnight message, and I obviously must be busy and not want to talk to him , then he sent me a good morning message this morning, so I did reply and lied and said I had been on a zoom quiz all last night with family , the he called me baby this morning and it made me cringe, I haven't replied...am I bitch!?

@Angelofdeath - 300 words, thats a dissertation isnt it lol! Loft conversion...thats funny . if you didnt laugh you would cry! I also got a text from my ex last night, not heard from him months, so threw me a bit, it was only to say I had a letter delivered to his house, and can he have my address to send it on....last person I expected to hear from ever again!

He seems a really nice guy, but not for me....I feel like he would be throwing rose petals everywhere I walked , Im just finding him a bit sickly, and I haven't once laughed at any of his messages, whereas Ive tried to throw a bit of humor in mine and he just doesn't get it.

Well, Mr Navy has put a new pic on his dating profile in a pair of budgie smugglers....Not for me!

Advice please....been talking to a guy from OLD for a couple of weeks and we've been FaceTiming recently. He seemed keen & was talking about us meeting up when lockdowns over. But the last two days he's been texting much less. He happened to mention today he was stressed with work. He hasn't disappeared completely but much quieter in keeping in contact. Shall I bring it up and ask him straight out if he's lost interest or just leave it? I hate not knowing but will he think I'm a bit full on to ask?

Sharon I think it's hard to maintain momentum with texting for a long period, I find I don't have the time or energy for it and prefer to try and agree a date to meet after a few days.

Also I think it's harder at the moment as no one is really doing much so there's less to message about.

Not sure of your restrictions but can you suggest a walk and coffee or something?

If that's not possible what about suggesting a chat and a (virtual) drink one evening! Sometimes things flow better if you can talk instead of messaging.

I just wish I had some luck but I don't seem to have any and I'm not matching with anyone either. Then the ones I do match with end up being pricks like the one the other night or just don't talk. Why match and not talk.

@sharonJJ55 - I would just ask, and I also agree with @VivaVegas and suggest a walk/coffee, at least you will know either way, it is difficult to keep messaging for weeks and not meeting

Arghh is all I can say, today has been crap I dented my car this morning(new wheel arch needed most likely) and just smashed my Mason Cash mixing bowl. Talking to a guy on Tinder who tells me he is still living with his ex (yes another one) but apparently they have come to an agreement where they can see people as long as they are discreet etc. His daughter has a life limiting illness so he won't move out as he is needed to look after her. Why oh why does it always happen to me!!

I went on a walk in the park with a guy today. He seemed like a great guy but no idea if I fancy him, which probably means I don't I suppose. Maybe I don't fancy anyone anymore! That's how it feels.

How do you feel about height of these blokes I have been speaking to an absolutely lovely guy we get on great but he says he 5’7 and I met him today and I’m pretty sure I am taller at 5’6. Although I had thick sole trainers on 🤔

Thanks @Angelofdeath glad it's not just me. He also seems very needy, I know I can be(I felt it this week with Computer Geek but I don't think I have been, my head has just been all over the place at the moment and the couple I sent him have just been chilled how are you message and my phone number) but 4 messages in quick succession asking me if I thought his photo was alright and was I put off by his situation was a bit much. I think this one is just way too complicated for me, I'm still trying to get Computer Geek out of my system.
