I have been married for 11 years. My husband recently announced that he has frequently masturbated (every 2-3 weeks) throughout our entire marriage. We have a good sex life, currently making love 8-11 times a week. I found it insulting that he told me he had a wnk this morning, even though we made love last night.
We are fairly adventurous in the bedroom and make plenty of time for using toys etc. He has discussed this with his friends who all tell him he is perfectly normal & they do exactly the same within their marriages. One even admits to wnking every day, despite having sex 4-5 times a week. Comments please.... :)

Male perspective....I masturbate....all men masturbate. I would imagine most women do to. You obviously have a healthy sex life so why are you worried about his wanking habits. If he get the urge and is unable to satisfy it with you ( because of the timing, kids etc.) then what is wrong with some self gratification. If it keeps him happy then great, I'm sure he's not going to get then hump if you do some DIY either.
If he was doing it and not making time for sex then I could understand your concern but you are obviously both getting to spend plenty of time together each week. Cut him some slack.

I think you should up the sex to 9-12 times a week and then the w*nking might decrease to once every 3- 4 months
