Does you husband w*nk?

I have been married for 11 years. My husband recently announced that he has frequently masturbated (every 2-3 weeks) throughout our entire marriage. We have a good sex life, currently making love 8-11 times a week. I found it insulting that he told me he had a wnk this morning, even though we made love last night.
We are fairly adventurous in the bedroom and make plenty of time for using toys etc. He has discussed this with his friends who all tell him he is perfectly normal & they do exactly the same within their marriages. One even admits to w
nking every day, despite having sex 4-5 times a week. Comments please.... :)

Yes my husband does.
You have an extremely healthy sex life by the sounds of it, so I'm confused as to why his masturbation habits are bothering you? If it was affecting your intimacy then fair enough, but it isn't.

Permanentlypuzzled · 28/09/2020 12:46

When you have lived as long as I have you’ll have realised that 99% of men are wankers.
HTH.

@DioneTheDiabolist

My husband recently announced that he has frequently masturbated (every 2-3 weeks) throughout our entire marriage. Why? Where? Did he tap a wee glass and request silence before making this announcement? Who else was there?Confused
Now I've got a mental picture of him standing at the head of the dinner table, tapping his glass and asking for silence for his announcement Grin

I don't really see an issue, I wouldn't be offended if my husband did it (I mean he probably does which is fine because I do too).

I think it's perfectly natural and okay to be intimate with your own body.

I'd be more offended if he wanked someone else off tbh

Isadora2007 · 28/09/2020 12:52

Actually to those all saying men all wank and watch porn or they lie about it- my husband doesn’t. I wouldn’t really mind if he did- I certainly read erotica and sometimes masturbate... so I’m no prude. But he just has no interest and if he doesn’t have sex he isn’t into solo stuff at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We have an active and enjoyable sex live though So it’s not like he isn’t sexually active at all.
Anyway op. His body, his business. Sex and Masturbation are separate and for different reasons I’d say.

Chloemol · 28/09/2020 12:56

Grow up, what a stupid post

LassInTheNE · 28/09/2020 12:57

Why is masturbating one or twice a month (or even at all) an insult? If he was watching porn and suffering from death grip or whatever but you're fucking 8-11 times a week.

What is it exactly you're insulted by? Sometimes men or women just want a fast/lazy orgasm and focus only on themselves. Nothing wrong with masturbating when married at all.

Dottyandbet · 28/09/2020 12:57

Of course he does.

doctorhamster · 28/09/2020 13:00

I think you need to up your game in the bedroom.

JamieLeeCurtains · 28/09/2020 13:04

My DP did indeed wink at me once, but he never did it again after I put out his eye with a red hot poker.🔥

Do you not have a telly? Grin

beachydreams · 28/09/2020 13:10

Hahaha!!! Troll!!

firstimemamma · 28/09/2020 13:10

Cool story bro.

flossletsfloss · 28/09/2020 13:11

I second the 'troll' !!

beachydreams · 28/09/2020 13:11

But if this is indeed for real then hahaha to 2-3 times a month. More like every day for most blokes I reckon. Who’s really bothered? Who cares. If they want to spank the monkey then meh. Not interested.

HaggisBurger · 28/09/2020 13:14

Was this a verbal or a written announcement? I’ve reread your post 8-11 times and can’t decide which seems more likely. I guess I’ll consult Debrett’s to see what is the etiquette for a wank announcement.

Aerial2020 · 28/09/2020 13:14

This must be made up post.
It's very childish.

BIWI · 28/09/2020 13:16

My husband can only wink with one eye. Can't wink with the other, no matter how many times he tries.

BoggledBudgie · 28/09/2020 13:17

I’m going to assume you don’t have kids yet to manage 11 times a week Grin

I'm the same! If I try to wink with the other, I just end up squinting.
Runforyourlifeitsagherkin · 28/09/2020 13:21

If your only having sex 11 times a week then I’m not surprised he needs to wank.
Poor bloke must be gagging for it.

TheQueef · 28/09/2020 13:22

They all do, every Wednesday I've been informed.
Must be the radio 4 play.

Keratinsmooth · 28/09/2020 13:22

I find it less believable that most men don’t wank frequently, married or single.

Ashdownstar · 28/09/2020 13:24

The way I understand it, 95% of men masturbate, aand the other 5% are liars.
