Partner keeps touching his own nipples

sharonJJ55 · 08/09/2020 00:06

Recently slept with new partner for the first time and he has this habit of keep flicking and pinching his nipples to turn himself on. Literally every time his hands weren't on me I could see him doing this to his nipples & it was a bit of a turn off. I've never had a man do this before, especially to themselves so much during sex. Would this put you off and how do I bring up this subject to him? Is it a bit worrying that he needs to do this so much to turn himself on?

If you've found this page in your search of nipple toys and clamps that have been recommended by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best nipple toys useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ

So men really can multitask

justanotherneighinparadise · 08/09/2020 16:39

That would turn me off too OP.

Kittykat93 · 08/09/2020 17:03

I don't think anyone on here is saying it's weird for a man to enjoy nipple stimulation. What people are saying would gross them out is the fact he's doing it CONTINUOUSLY to himself all throughput foreplay and sex. This would really put me off.

Yes they are saying it. Including comments like eughh and it being a feminine trait and bizarre.

Now apparently some genitals were stomach churning. Really? Would it be acceptable for men to say they found a woman's genitals stomach churning?

It’s neither acceptable or not acceptable. You can’t really apply logic to what people find attractive. If we start saying ‘no you’re not allowed to not find this person unattractive for any reason’ then it’s a slippery slope (ooer missus) imo.

EDSGFC · 08/09/2020 17:22

Oh ok. Good to know that people won't be bent out of shape with the men who only find so called designer vaginas attractive then right? Seeing as it's ok to find certain things unattractive and even stomach churning?

MsWonderful · 08/09/2020 17:26

Lol, no I won’t be bent out of shape, don’t worry. Do you have a funny looking cock or something? You seem to be taking this very personally 🤔

IsAnybodyListening · 08/09/2020 17:29

Nipple tweaking always reminds me of the film 'Good Morning Vietnam' when he shouts 'Tune In Tokyo'.

He needs clamps as to keep his hands free for you me thinks.

Nope, I'm a woman. I just hate double standards. Rank hypocrisy to accuse men of misogyny for finding aspects of a woman's body unattractive (with all of the body issues that can lead to) but then turn a blind eye to women stating a man's genitals were stomach churning.
EDSGFC · 08/09/2020 17:31

Why? Is op concentrating on what he likes then?

MsWonderful · 08/09/2020 17:33

So how should someone behave if they find that their partner’s body turns them off? Just lie back and think of England or what?

IsAnybodyListening · 08/09/2020 17:36

EDSGFC It was a lighthearted comment...I don't really understand your response.

No, we're all free to find people attractive or unattractive. I just don't think it's a good thing to be posting on public forums how physical appearance of genitals is stomach churning. As I said, I'm sure most of us would take issue with any man posting on here that his new partner's genitals were a different shape or size to what he was used to and he found them stomach churning.

Personally, I think some opinions are best kept to yourself. Why not just quietly move on with your life rather than adding to the long list of body parts people now feel insecure about?

BrandyandBabycham · 08/09/2020 17:39

Had a smile at “ gore play” 🙂

MsWonderful · 08/09/2020 17:50

I’m sure there are male-dominated forums doing just that. In fact the size and shape of women’s bodies is constantly commented on all over the media and irl. Nice of you to cape for the poor men, but I think they’re probably gonna be ok!

Literallynoidea · 08/09/2020 17:51

Urggh this sounds AWFUL!

I wouldn't be able to tolerate this at all

BillywilliamV · 08/09/2020 17:53

Perhaps he was trying to tune into the Archers?

EDSGFC · 08/09/2020 17:55

I'm not particularly caring about men, I'm saying that body shaming is not right, regardless of who it's aimed at. Just because a male dominated board somewhere is doing it about women's bodies I don't see how that makes it ok for us to do it too. If for no other reason than men reading it on here may well get the idea that it's ok to continue. Do unto others and all that.

Meh A man can get the ick about a woman just as easily as the other way around. It would be a bit weird for a man to start talking about that on mumsnet since most of us are women but if they want to talk about the ick with their mates that's up to them.

It's not body shaming. You've totally misunderstood what the ick is and you have no right to tell people not to talk about it!
Username00003757579291001 · 08/09/2020 18:03

Name changed obvs

I knew someone who did this - extremely unnerving! It was the tip of the iceberg wrt deeper sexual dysfunction and he had quite a nasty streak (not good nasty). Dump him for that association alone OP!

Kaiserin · 08/09/2020 18:14

A lot of men have sensitive nipples, I really don't get what you're all getting "eww gross" about, it's really not that unusual.
Makes me wonder how experienced in bed you all really are.

OP's partner going solo with it was a bit weird, admittedly. Sounds a bit sad you two couldn't communicate better your likes and dislikes. But it's not like nipple stimulation is some kind of bizarre hardcore fetish Confused
You don't strike me as very sexually adventurous...

CodenameVillanelle · 08/09/2020 18:17

The ew gross is the thought of a man diligently and unceasingly twiddling his nipples instead of I dunno touching the OP or kissing her or just not no handed wanking into her whilst frantically squeezing his boobs
It's just an unattractive image and that's that

EDSGFC · 08/09/2020 18:26

The pp said that her partner's genitals were stomach churning. Another compared it to white dog poo - no mention of the "ick" in either post. That's body shaming

LaurieFairyCake · 08/09/2020 18:37

Men are so weird

I mean this is the thin end of a fucking massive wedge of cheese..

But it's still vomity
