I had one that said “I only speak to one girl at a time and I expect the same of you in return”

People that message to say “Have I said something wrong???” if you don’t get back to them straight away.

Looking arrogant or mean or unfriendly. Being angry about how other women have treated them. Photos of them in bed or holding fish. Posing with a dog (desperate).

GinWithRosie · 19/05/2020 04:55

@ceriane I hate that too, when they send the ‘Have I done something wrong?’ message 🤦‍♀️ Or even worse when you get this “?????lol” a couple of hours after they’d sent a message! Firstly...I’m not sitting on my phone just waiting to hear from you! Secondly, what’s with the PA ‘lol’ after all the aggressive question marks?

If I’ve messaged someone and they don’t respond back...i don’t actually care enough (or generally even notice!) to be so pathetic as to send a PA message asking why they’ve not responded 🤷‍♀️It’s just not that big a deal! I don’t understand it!

The ones who fire off response within two seconds are just as bad though...and then expect you to do the same...for hours! Erm...no! I’m working!!

HandfulOfFlowers · 19/05/2020 05:09

Any profile that describes their relationship status as "complicated". Makes me run for the hills. If it's already complicated, why complicate it further by putting more people into the mix?

awesmum · 19/05/2020 05:38

The ones who say 'my kid is my world or my best friend' or 'my kids come first' - well done.

awesmum · 19/05/2020 05:40

My favourite one was the guy with his profile picture under the Auschwitz sign. I actually took a screenshot shot because I couldn't believe it, I regret not reporting it.

DeeCeeCherry · 19/05/2020 06:01

I tried OLD years ago & was traumatised, doesn't sound like it's improved much

GinWithRosie · 19/05/2020 09:35

Just remembered another one...the 'foot fetish' men...there's SO MANY of them!!! "If you want your feet pampering, I'm your guy...just saying 😜" 🤢🤢 (I actually enjoy a foot massage, BUT I do not wish to date anyone with a fetish!)

megrichardson · 19/05/2020 10:02

Haha! I'd like to see the face of any foot fetish guy once he'd seen the state of my manky feet!

hellsbellsmelons · 19/05/2020 10:21

@megrichardson - LOL - Me too - mine a friggin' minging!

GinWithRosie · 19/05/2020 10:44

I know right? What is wrong with these men...and who actually responds to them? 🤢

MondeoFan · 19/05/2020 10:51

This thread has got me laughing out loud on sofa, kids in garden looking at me wondering what I'm laughing at.

midnightstar66 · 19/05/2020 11:02

@megrichardson that would be like dirty talk to them 🤣

megrichardson · 19/05/2020 11:05

OMG Envy @midnightstar66

GinWithRosie · 19/05/2020 11:41

Oh god @midnightstar66 🤮 (although you’re probably right 😖)

DilemmaADay · 19/05/2020 13:39

Guys that say "finally ready to settle down and meet the right person" - implies that they want you to be the one to tame them from their wayward past....its a no from me

420 friendly - personal preference but just not for me

Ready to meet the 'one'- feels like meeting them would lead to tales of woe is me, crazy exs etc

"Here for a fun time not a long time" - urgh feck off

"Back on the market" - seems bigheadded like they are a prize women are simply just waiting for

Ask if you want to know more

People who say 'anything' as 'nethink'

Just come out of a long term relationship- you'll probably have to deal with ex issues and potentially being a rebound

Ceriane · 19/05/2020 18:57

I hate it, it’s just yuk! They just seem so desperate. GinWithRosie, I’m the same, if I message someone and they don’t message me back I don’t really care very much. It’s not like we know them, just seen a thumbnail picture and read a few lines they’d written....Don’t get how you can be so invested in someone just from that!

singlemum81 · 19/05/2020 20:08

Hi lady's I'm back
Why don't women on here want a nice guy

That last bloke who said 'why don't women on here want a nice guy' almost got himself a restraining order. We went on 2 dates and I ran a mile. First date was five, second date was scary. He was bat shit crazy.

Obviously he still thinks he's awesome. Total nut job. Wish there was some way of warning women. I've reported him but he keeps reappearing with a new profile

APJ1 · 19/05/2020 21:07

'Why dose no one chat on here [sic] or 'Deleting this soon' I'm not going to give them a sympathy right swipe. Those sort of profiles just strike me as the guy being frustrated that he's not getting his end away!

hfrdgftcsdg · 19/05/2020 21:37

“Thin men standing next to bikes” 😂

hfrdgftcsdg · 19/05/2020 21:38

This has inspired me to download tinder just for the lols

singlemum81 · 19/05/2020 21:46

Not even joking but just had someone message and ask my profession. I say it's on my profile. As blunt as that. He then comes back and asks again and amongst some other BS, he drops it in saying he's a doctor.

Ahh now I get the need to talk about professions 😬

Checked his profile and he has a Ph.D.

For fuck sake

The ones who say I like nights out as well as nights in.

It's not the fucking hokey cokey ffs!

Also, every guy has a beard. Like a carbon copy of the last guy. Which is a shame cos I like beards, but the trend is too much.

singlemum81 · 19/05/2020 22:34

Cosy night in with a bottle of wine 🤢 I can just imagine some sleaze ball trying to get a woman pissed

Soen · 19/05/2020 23:05

Ugh yeah. Either that or he is an utter couch potato who can't be arsed doing sod all.
