I really think you should head in.

Don't be like me with DS2, I was starting transition before we left for the hospital.

justilou1 · 18/04/2020 01:50

Oh darling I have been following you from the beginning, but in Aus, and laws different here. Wishing you luck with your delivery!!! Hope it all goes smoothly and quickly and you are back home snuggling this little one and your DS ASAP!

Icanflyhigh · 18/04/2020 02:04

Another one here thinking you should probably head to the hospital now.
Good luck xx

Fedupofitnow123 · 18/04/2020 02:14

I rang the maternity unit and they want me to be more out of breath through the contractions first, so, sitting up, drinking water and waiting! Waiting, waiting, waiting! Hopefully I'll get there in time!

TheTiaraManager · 18/04/2020 09:56

Wow! Just catching up and read the flat update which was exciting. Now I see today may be baby arrival day! Best of luck

Daftapath · 18/04/2020 11:31

Hopefully she is getting some rest @ToxicCat Smile Thankyou for letting us know

I had similar with my second. Two nights of contractions, then would stop during the day. Third evening, dd was born less than an hour after arriving at hospital. So fingers crossed it happens swiftly for your sister too

Fedupofitnow123 · 18/04/2020 16:31

Hi everyone,

So baby still not here, contractions go from being regular to dampening off, they started in my back, but again, dampened off, I'm tired, but gunna try for a nap in a minute.

I've lost the mucus plug and have blood on a pad, I desperately need him to arrive before or after Monday

He'll come when he comes and it will all work out, you'll see.

The main thing is not to stress (like that's so easy!) and to get as much sleep as you can.

SnowdropFox · 18/04/2020 20:48

We're all sending our best wishes to you and bump! Such good news about the flat!

thecatneuterer · 18/04/2020 21:24

@FlowerArranger Finally, you refer to the notice as given in a letter. Again, even if the 'LL has complied with the letter of the law, the notice he has given will not be valid unless it is properly executed. This means that the notice period has to be in line with the tenancy agreement, and the notice has to be worded correctly. Also, to start the process of eviction, he would have to issue a Section 21 and/or 8 notice. It's a drawn out process and quite complex, so you'd want to seek legal advice on this.

This is completely irrelevant as the OP is not a tenant of the LL. The LL is not evicting the OP, he is asking his tenants to evict their guests in order to comply with their tenancy agreement. If the OP's parents refuse, then the LL could start eviction proceedings against his tenants, but would have to, currently, give three months notice and then, with courts not properly functioning, actual eviction would be likely to take another 5 or so months after that.

thecatneuterer · 18/04/2020 21:31

Oh ignore me - I hadn't got as far as the update about the flat so it's not relevant anyway.

FlowerArranger · 18/04/2020 22:47

@thecatneuterer... thank you for staying the obvious Hmm

Fedupofitnow123 · 19/04/2020 01:32

Little man arrived on the 18th at 20:47. It was such a wonderful labour, after struggling with DS1 (feels good to write that, DS1) I was dreading this labour, but I stayed home and breathed all the way through the contractions, we made it to hospital with just 30 minutes spare, DS2 (:D) flew across the bed and wasn't caught by the midwife! Whoops!!! No pain relief what so ever and I feel amazing! I never thought I would be able to do it, but I did! He weights 7lb 2oz :D
