Found some knickers that aren’t mine..

What are the chances this is innocent? I was just going through my laundry and found a pair of white knickers that are definitely not mine.

No big problems in our relationship, he would like sex more often than me but when we do have it it’s very loving. He isn’t acting any differently and has always been very loyal.

Wwyd?

This has happened to me before and it's just turned out its a old pair of pants I'd forgot about but vaguely remember

greenlynx · 19/06/2019 00:13

Can’t add anything new but I regularly end up with some unfamiliar socks and knickers after visiting relatives (mix up after washing). Once my sister brought a pillowcase and put it into my wardrobe without mentioning it thinking it’s mine. I was completely at a loss when I found it.
And yes to the knickers from the school office. My DD had an accident recently and then put them into washing without telling me.
Hope you will find an innocent explanation.

Dd 8 years old went to a friend’s house after school one day. Had a change of clothes from uniform etc. Two days later when I was putting it on to wash I came across a pair of men’s black boxers 😂 knew instantly they weren’t dh’s, asked her where she got changed.......in spare room, full of clothes as they’re currently in the middle moving house. I dumped the boxers.....don’t really want to text “Hey Sally, I’ve got a pair of Adrian’s boxers here” 😂

OP - a pair of slippers once turned up in my living room, no idea who they belonged to or how they got there. We'd had guests the week before, they denied owning them - i asked every visitor we'd had if they had left them, to no avail. I sent photos round WhatsApp groups, etc. They were never claimed.

I now keep them on the shoe rack, in the hope that whoever they belong to will one day turn up and be all "My slippers! I've been looking for these for ten years"

Basically, we just have to accept that sometimes things turn up in our houses. Suggest you put a small picture hook near the front door and hang them on it, that way guests can easily check to see if they belong to them.

Bizarre!

SecretWitch · 19/06/2019 00:37

I want to say my knicks are probably the least sexy. I’m currently wearing a pair of my husband’s boxers. I have a pin in them to hold them up. 🤷‍♀️ Washing day in the afternoon.

wafflyversatile · 19/06/2019 00:45

Knickers and socks have a habit of turning up in the wrong place quite often. I would try not to jump to conclusions.

nespressowoo · 19/06/2019 07:12

Where's OP gone??

Windmillwhirl · 19/06/2019 07:17

She's probably gone to M&S

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 19/06/2019 07:29

I’m here, just couldn’t add much more to it. I feel certain they are nothing to do with DH. Who knows where they came from.
They are actually from George so not as fancy pants as M&S sorry Grin

@Chancewouldbeafinethlng- I did think George......currently sporting the same ones but in black 😂😂😂

womenspeakout · 19/06/2019 07:42

Did they come in from the line?

If so it's probably all this wind.

category12 · 19/06/2019 07:51

I know what happened - it was Stephen Mangan. (He was on an episode of "would I lie to you" saying he and his housemate used to peg out extra washing items on their neighbour's line for shits and giggles.)

Found some knickers that aren’t mine..
SignedUpJust4This · 19/06/2019 08:43

I once sat on the tube and realised my old knickers were sticking out the bottom of jeans leg so I discreetly removed them and kicked them back. Often wonder if they ended up in some poor man's bag.

Also found previous home owners pants down back of built in wardrobe (dusty).

I've also found a suspicious pair and realised they were actually mi e but it had been years since I'd worn sexy pants!

Pants have a knack of showing up in strange places. If you have no other reason to suspect anything I wouldn't worry.

VirtuallyConfused · 19/06/2019 11:46

Um people who have affairs don't spend all their time in lace thongs...

managedmis · 19/06/2019 12:13
Hmm
Pinkmouse6 · 19/06/2019 13:07

I bought a pack of MASSIVE pants just before I had dd. 'These will be nice for just after birth' I thought. 2 years later, and I am still wearing them ....

Same Grin, also M&S ones and I have those ones too but in black not white.

It doesn’t sound like your DH is up to no good to me.

Mordred · 19/06/2019 14:11

I love knickers like that. I think they're dead sexy.

Never did like thongs and so on. Thank god DW doesn't own any of the latter.

GummyGoddess · 19/06/2019 15:00

I was about to say they're from asda. I bought loads to wear during the end of my last pregnancy as they were so comfy and came right over the bump Grin

Cheeseandwin5 · 19/06/2019 15:49

I think you may need to slow down a bit. It looks like you believe your DH is not having an affair and he has done all he can to prove it isn't. you may want to stop making accusations remarks/questions, because at some point, and assuming he is innocent, you will sound like you don't trust him at all. If my DH found underpants and I had acted the same way as your hubby, I would be losing my patience if he continually questioned my behaviour

FilledSoda · 19/06/2019 16:16

I'd be devastated if my dh suspected something like this .
Was your Dh not hurt ?

billydilly · 19/06/2019 16:21

I found an adult sized Batman onesie in my laundry basket once. Eternal mystery.

Al203 · 19/06/2019 17:06

They're mine.

Treesthemovie · 19/06/2019 17:50

Really surprised by the number of people on here who think that it can't possibility be an affair just because they don't think the pants are sexy enough! Confused

honeylulu · 19/06/2019 19:57

I've posted about this before but I was in the gym changing room once, late for my class, rushing to get changed. Was struggling to get my leg into my gym leggings as there seemed to be a blockage.

Suddenly my foot shot through and a pair of yesterday's knickers shot across the changing room and landed IN SOMEONE ELSE'S BAG.

I wonder what they thought when they found them.
