Found some knickers that aren’t mine..

What are the chances this is innocent? I was just going through my laundry and found a pair of white knickers that are definitely not mine.

No big problems in our relationship, he would like sex more often than me but when we do have it it’s very loving. He isn’t acting any differently and has always been very loyal.

Wwyd?

@Fernicktylo yeah that happened to me at university. A few pairs of big beige nylon granny pants were found down the back of a radiator

@WarmestRegards that’s grim!

LadyBrienneofTarth · 18/06/2019 20:05

Have you done any dry cleaning ? Sometimes things get caught up in that

lisaorris99 · 18/06/2019 20:06

I don’t get what ‘shagging pants’ are. People wear every day underwear and still
Have affairs unfortunately.

I hope it’s innocent, but everyone saying it must be fine because they’re not black lacy numbers is a bit naive I think.

ConfCall · 18/06/2019 20:08

When my elderly parents were downsizing we found a kimono in a bag at the back of a wardrobe. No idea re. its provenance.

I once found a size 18 Etam top in amongst my stuff. I was a size 12 then and hadn’t shopped in Etam in years.

Sons girlfriends here

RockinHippy · 18/06/2019 20:12

Have you been to a swimming pool or dance/sports etc recently?

I've accidentally picked things up from our pool changing cubicle. Juggling kids, towels & dry clothes into a little box, it's easy to dump things down on a seat, or hang up, on top of something left behind & scoop it up without realising. Especially when it's light coloured. Could that be where they've come from

bobstersmum · 18/06/2019 20:13

The pants aren't that bad!

Deafdonkey · 18/06/2019 20:13

In a previous life I didn't put on nice pants and think 'hey deaf tonight is your lucky night' I have however found that knickers (nice or otherwise) don't stay on long if you do get lucky.

Back to op, trust your dh if everything else is good. I have a tumble dryer and often socks and pants have got velcroed to a cardi or in trousers.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 18/06/2019 20:14

Is your DH angry you’ve accused him?

I’d be pretty fucking pissed off if my partner accused me of cheating on them.

PenisBeakerSmellbow · 18/06/2019 20:15

Am I the only one who’s husband wouldn’t notice what pants I was wearing if we were about to get down to it?

RockinHippy · 18/06/2019 20:16

Oh & definitely Cats. Basil the knicker the cat is local to me & he's not the only one we have locally that's well known for stealing knickers & socks.

Ours are semi house cats, so go outside but can't get further than our yard. One of them is forever finding stuff in the house that we'd forgotten existed Confused

Grumpelstilskin · 18/06/2019 20:16

My pets are pervs and raid laundry bins. Some knickers blew into our garden and the youngest came running in with them and then lay there with them draped over her snout. Your cats have a fetish... Grin

Harebel · 18/06/2019 20:18

Offering up his phone would raise my suspicions. Sorry to say that OP. I hope it's something innocent that explains it.

IGottaSeeJane · 18/06/2019 20:19

Have you recently moved in to your house? We found a couple of pairs of the previous owners in the back of the airing cupboard when we moved into ours.

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 18/06/2019 20:23

He is concerned about reassuring me and seemed genuine rather than angry when showing me his phone. I know his lying face. He’s not angry in general, he’s just acting like he normally would.
They definitely weren’t behind the radiator in that room. I know I haven’t brought them in. Very strange

Or have you been at your house for years and just really shit at cleaning.

Grumpelstilskin · 18/06/2019 20:24

Offering up his phone means nothing though. A lot of guys who do cheat have a second phone.

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 18/06/2019 20:27

His phone is linked to his car and can show all his driving history. I didn’t look at it though

I honestly have a man's jacket, a pair of men's pants and a pair of jeans in my house...I only live with my two teenagers. I have no idea how they got here or who they belong to.

hinely · 18/06/2019 20:31

Do you have a clothes line in the garden? Could they have blown over from a neighbour's garden (can easily happen if not pegged) and been picked up off the ground by whoever brought the washing in?

nespressowoo · 18/06/2019 20:32

Do you have a cleaner?

MyCatHatesEverybody · 18/06/2019 20:32

So are they clean or not? (i.e are they straight off a washing line?)

Musti · 18/06/2019 20:32

I've had a lot of random items of clothing in my house. Have your children been on sleepovers or have you had any children over for sleepovers?

dangerrabbit · 18/06/2019 20:35

How old are your teenagers? Could one of them have a girlfriend? Or did any have a sleepover and it could have come from that?

AmeriAnn · 18/06/2019 20:38

NOT sexy?! Good lord, what do you call sexy these days?

You should see the great big reinforced gusseted bloomers I wear!
