I'm not looking for hate. I'm just asking if it would bother you?

Someone is 14 years older. Thanks.

@MsTSwift ahh ill be ok then i already act 60 😂

Pissedoffdotcom · 29/12/2018 17:35

Energy wise I have less than DP, thanks to various illnesses. As it stands will be him taking care of me in 10 years time.
I don't buy the 'by 30 men seem to get their shit together' either; i know far too many blokes in their 30s who still act like teenage bachelors even if in relationships with the responsibility of kids. I can safely say that me & DP have the same priorities & the same plans for once our kids leave home if it ever happens

@selkiesolstice That's hilarious, my wife has never felt that she was in a situation where she felt that she had to 'settle' for a much older man... Neither is she stifled or depressed..! I can assure you that our relationship is very worth it, and we have 2 wonderful dc's, and an extremely happy and fulfilling marriage and life together. Hey, if it works, don't knock it.

hpsaucy · 29/12/2018 18:55

@sekiesolstice I'm certainly not stifled or depressed! I also didn't settle for an older man, I chose to have children and marry the man I loved.

ChiaraRimini · 29/12/2018 19:57

OP there are lots of 35 yo women who can't find a partner their own age because the 35 yo men are chasing 20 something girls and they don't want to date a guy 15+ years older than them. That's what pisses people off. I wouldn't have seen it at your age either

blueskiespls · 29/12/2018 20:19

Is there anyone else here as the 'older women'?

Santaissleepingoffmincepies · 29/12/2018 20:23

I am 47,dh is 38 tomorrow!!

blueskiespls · 29/12/2018 20:26

@Santaissleepingoffmincepies yay! I am currently 35 dfiancee is 26. He looks older I look younger!

Santaissleepingoffmincepies · 29/12/2018 20:34

My exh was also younger (6 years) but assumed the oldest! Me and dh look similar imo!

HJWT · 29/12/2018 20:55

@ChiaraRimini haha i actually love your little statement!! My DH was VERY reluctant to be with a younger woman, it took me a year to convince him that I wasn't like the rest of the young 20's in our town.
