I think it's a way of them getting to ask about medical conditions within the confines of the equality act

I don't know about elaboration. Presuming they could ask me to meet with their OH/ for my consent to add my medical records.

Do you have to elaborate on this answer? I'm sure you have screeds of documentation from GP to prove your attempts to try to return to work....
