SeaEagleFeather · 05/12/2018 21:14

No, it was 2 degrees today. Wondering if I have enough eggs to go lake-swimming ... even so I'll be sure to take my deo :D

justilou1 · 06/12/2018 11:20

I have to be pushed into cold water when it’s 36 degrees, Sea Eagle. Where I come from there are too many things that want to eat you or sting you or bite you or drown you. And sand. I like to look at it. From a mountain top.

SeaEagleFeather · 06/12/2018 12:27

brrr that sounds scary. Plus currents too I suppose at the sea.

So many new beginnings. You are doing really well x

Well done OP. So delighted for you. X

Littlemissdemeanour · 12/12/2018 17:38

Panicking big time. Employee offer is conditional and has medical check q if I've been off for more than 7 days..

Clearly I have. But I don't want to reveal the 6 months thing. It looks so awful...

What on earth does one do in these situations?

OP posts:
Littlemissdemeanour · 12/12/2018 17:44

I should be clearer. The question is have you had more than 7 consecutive days off in two years.

So yes, I have. I'm worried the offer will get withdrawn as it's conditional

OP posts:
FestiveForestieraNoel · 12/12/2018 17:49

Wasn't the six months not for medical issues?

Littlemissdemeanour · 12/12/2018 17:54

It was for the grievance and stress and anxiety related to line manager. Raised grievance and told to stay off. No medication

I'm very worried this could be end of line for job ?

OP posts:
FestiveForestieraNoel · 12/12/2018 18:27

I thought it was the grievance alright.

If the question was about medical issues specifically I'd think they meant an ongoing or once off medical condition that you'd needed to take time off for. Can you ask for clarification from HR? Doesn't mean they won't employ you.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 12/12/2018 18:30

I had a medical once for a job and it was conditional too. I declared stuff but it didn't stop me from being hired.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 12/12/2018 18:32

Do they ask for elaboration of you tick yes? You could easily be off with flu for 7 days.
