It's not you! There's surely he could have gone for coffee with you then picked up shoes after? Married or long term gf.

Poppa how old are you ? Seriously saying the lie about his dad and then saying actually I will come need my daughter some trainers was a red flag!

Don't you deserve better ?

Why do youth accept so less for themselves.

I'm sure if this was a friend your advise to not go to the date ?

Poppa445 · 22/04/2018 17:46

His name isn't Ian, is it? I had a brief relationship, if you could call it that, with a bloke who pulled those sort of stunts.

Cricrichan · 22/04/2018 18:06

He's definitely with someone. He couldn't get out like he'd planned so made an excuse about the shoes to his wife.

Zucker · 22/04/2018 18:11

MARRIED MARRIED MARRIED.

Dancingmonkey87 · 22/04/2018 18:14

My db goes on tinder or Puff and it just seems to be people who are after one thing or mess you about. My db would love to find someone to have a meaningful relationship but I keep telling him he’s wasting his time on the internet. Your still young op, you considered speed dating there’s some venues in the Teesside area that do it.

Why do youth accept so less for themselves.

I ask myself the same question. Often.

Being mid 50's has its benefits!

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 22/04/2018 18:17

This is why I stopped OLD. I didnt have the patience for it. All I want is a normal bloke to go out with and have nice enjoyable sex with.

youaremyrain · 22/04/2018 18:20

I had a second date with someone in town. He went for an eye test and bought new glasses and I stupidly tagged along. Apparently he wanted my opinion on the glasses Hmm
There wasn't a third date

I know it's hard but try not to take it personally. It really isn't you. Online dating is a numbers game and frankly quite brutal. Sounds like this guy isn't single and has not been truthful with you. That is a shitty reflection on him, not you. One silver lining Is that at least you found out now.

Shampaincharly · 22/04/2018 18:46

Haha,@WarmestRegards. My thoughts exactly!

SelkieUnderLand · 22/04/2018 18:47

warmest especially if ''Brian'' lives in Newcastle.

and has a 3 year old daughter.

VladPutin · 22/04/2018 18:47

Did he text after

YearOfYouRemember · 22/04/2018 18:52

Anyone's DP come home with pink converse?....

YearOfYouRemember · 22/04/2018 18:54

Ah, should read to end before posting [grr]

Pluckedpencil · 22/04/2018 19:02

Yes, any Geordie with a three year old daughter with a new pair of pink converse and a shifty father? Anyone?

Poppa445 · 22/04/2018 19:10

Nope no text.
It was like he blew me off before even meeting me.

OP posts:
VladPutin · 22/04/2018 19:21

I would be like you. I would be thinking no he can fuck off , then meet him and hate myself for being so agreeable. I totally get it.

Next time be fucking awkward. like I con myself I would be

Poppa445 · 22/04/2018 19:25

I really want to send him a text saying how totally rude and ignorant he is but it would probably be water off a ducks back.

OP posts:
VladPutin · 22/04/2018 19:26

Me too ( in my alter ego) then would TOTALLY regret

So... Don't Grin

and if he messages then reply with curt one word answers. Make him sweat
