Sounds good book, it certainly seems to have been an endeavour.

Can easily buy new ones from school Willow, but £15 each so I was seduced by £4 each for the 2nd hand ones . I'm sure I'll pick up 2nd hand ones the right size, the current yr11's finished last Friday so people will be offloading now.

I'm tackling Tesco at 9am

Have had about 4 hrs sleep. Gave up at 2 and went downstairs and put 'relaxing music' on tou tube on tv and fell asleep eventually.

Shower then ds2 swimming then attacking thier room to clear our toys etc they dont really use now to add to sale next week (hope someone turns up!)

Well it's all done with now! DS had friend round which I always find stressful as you have to manage it all. We watched it on the telly - odd but glad not to be in the crowds.

Currently doing a sleepover at work. Have made a corn beef hash and a bread and Butter Pudding. Have put my lady to bed and am now chewing my nails and watching my beloved CFC in the FA Cup Final...

Evening all.
Room blitzed. Took hours off and on (had a wedding to go to😀) but a bin bag bursting with recycling and another with rubbish, stuff to sell and one cleared desk, and every thing hoovered and dusted/wiped down later and its done. Kids lucky to be still breathing was constant battle to keep them actually doing something constructive 😀

Roast chicken tea and magnum double rasp ice lolly for pud. Yum.

Glad your team won 84. Pity you cant celebrate if you are working.

Good morning! Nothing like a 5;30 start

Need to get out today - cabin fever after yesterday's stuck at home. I really can't stay home all day! Need to do some birthday shopping for DH's birthday too and DS has planned quite the cake!

I also woke at 5.30am - to find myself on the sofa. Opps. Let Charlie out for a wee and went to bed for a few more hours.

Had breakfast with the scouts yesterday, open invite to parents although not many came. Full English cooked outdoors and then someone had made cake. Lovely morning.

Lazy afternoon, although we cleared the hedge trimmings from the other day. Still needs a lot more but at least it looks reasonable now.

Late afternoon walk with a friend and dogs, lots of laughs.

Then out in the evening with my WAY group for a meal and had a really lovely time.

Not much planned for the day but feel like I need a bit of time out, so that's good.

I had about as much interest in the royal wedding as I do in football, so neither featured at all in my day.
But pleased for you that your team won 84.

I didn't get to see much of the wedding at all - just a few highlights of dress and outfits - which is the bit I like the best anyway. Loved the flowers , but I cannot begin to imagine how much they must have been .
I have been gardening/allotmenting/washing/ironing/crocheting , and not really had a relaxing moment in truth. Just trying to catch up, everything needs doing at once!
Will be going back out to the jungle garden shortly to plant some things I have been growing - they need to be out of their pots now .

Hello all, sounds like everyone has been very productive. DS took such a keen interest in the wedding, we had it on in the background all day.

Town all back to normal and mission accomplished on all fronts. Ironing done, house clean...just need to chat to mum, read bedtime stories, shower and do my yoga.

I'm ready for bed now though 😳

Busy day at work but quietened down towards end so not so late finishing. Still hating first half wont do till unless absolutely have to as i am a nervous wreck when boss there although they were in good fettle today.

Waiting to watch marvel although missed last week cos kids arguing to much and gave up on it. Never got round to watching it on catch up.😠

Another Monday, another week. Still have loads to do at work, feels never ending.

Mixed day yesterday. My good friends came over and we sat in the garden with them and Mum. Then Wilf split up with his gf... He's very meh about it....

Ah poor Wilf, bet he'll still feel upset at some point - even if it was his decision.

Hope work wasn't too mad Squirrel and for you either horse. Hope the new boss has piped down now.

I'm still slowly working on the world worst crochet square ever to be produced and then will get on with my blanket's next colour.

easy day here - pottering /housework this morning. Picked up DGS. made a meal, and did a tiny bit of garden tidying for DD in the afternoon.
Just have a pile of washing to fold now.
Willow - Hope today went okay for DS, and you chased that elusive teacher ..
