Morning all.
Glad the night was good 84 and Wilf ' joined in too'.

Having a bit brekky before work. And trying not to think about it. Very cold and bucketing rain last night. Not much better today so hopefully not full on all day.

Was in list mode last night trying to think of all the things i have to do.

Have a good day all.

84CharingCrossRoad · 13/05/2018 11:09

My hangover has descended... I have walked the dogs. Collected the papers. Delivered my neighbours. I fed my hangover two chocolate éclairs and a large cup of tea. Now under the duvet with Bumble watching First Dates. I did offer to help clear up the village hall with my neighbours after last night but it's all done already!

MrsJonesAndMe · 13/05/2018 21:25

Hello all

84 the hang over caught up in the end Grin Glad Wilf could see the B&G too. Hope you're feeling better by now!

Ah Willow I hope work was quiet and that your lists are helpful to make you feel a bit more in control of a situation where you must feel completely up in the air.

Head better Squirrel? Would you like to tell us more about the OLD? Guessing there's a lot of mixed feelings there.

book hope you've had a good day

We've been very busy. All preened and prepped for the week ahead. Struggling with the crochet piece I'm trying to do, but slowly but surely --hopefully- The Rainbow blanket is doing much better - have completed 19/80 squares now.

Catch up with you all tomorrow. x

Chasingsquirrels · 13/05/2018 22:21

Not sure why I am going cake, the distance is way outside my ideal. But I've no expectations and that makes it easier cos I can just go and see and not be (too) nervous. I'll update afterwards.

Willow2017 · 13/05/2018 22:51

Evening all.
MrsJ work busy all day. Just hate Sundays always feel odd one out all day. Everyone very effecient at everything and i am not when so many people watching my every move and i know games are being played when it suits a member of staff to try to make me look an idiot in front of boss but i just let them get on with it. Head down and crack on 😁

Home to chaos again then long arguments re whose fault it was. got them to clean up then ds2 had a meltdown as he didnt do something properly and i called him out on it...he adamant he did. I just gave up he wouldnt listen too upset. Am off for early night for once.

bookbook · 13/05/2018 22:58

Evening!
just a quick dip in to say goodnight - had a busy day, and spent the evening chatting to my DDs on fb as we tried to hunt down shoes for DD2 for the wedding in August - I have seen some ugly interesting stuff , but had a giggle with them at some of the offerings....
Sleep well all x

Morning all

(((hugs))) Willow

Feel like poo. Somehow an alarm went off in the night - DS must have been messing with the little clock on the bedside table. Ahhhrgh!

Catch up with you all tonight x

bookbook · 14/05/2018 08:25

Morning all!
Gorgeous sunny morning here.
MrsJ - oh no, not what you want to happen when you have a busy week ahead. I see you are doing great guns with the crochet .
Willow - thinking of you and sending positive vibes if that helps - a bit like climbing a mountain for you I guess, so just keep doing one step at a time , you will get there (hugs)
Chasing - well, I'm not sure whether to keep my fingers crossed for you or not! But I hope the OLD thing goes well for you - no harm in putting your toe into the water .
84 -hope the headache has gone, and you are back to full functioning today - you always have so much on helping folk , and working .
Actually not too pushed for time this morning - it didn't rain yesterday, so was able to get some work at the allotment done, so don't need to do that other than pick some cauliflower for our meal tonight. Don't even have any washing to put on !
Spent an hour yesterday with my girls trying on all our suitable occasion outfits for the wedding ( which is why we ended up looking at shoes last night) - so all sorted there and a lovely time .
Pick up DGS this afternoon, then have to zoom home straight after meal to get back for committee meeting tonight
Have a good day everyone

Just on my break at work. Have done some housework before I came to work. Will be making some tomato sauce this afternoon. Have friends coming for dinner tomorrow night. Am doing Spag Bol with garlic bread and then homemade chocolate mousse with summer fruits and home made butter biscuits! I can do a lot of that tomorrow morning as I'm working 5 till 6.30pm tomorrow night and will then dash home!

Willow2017 · 14/05/2018 11:50

MrsJonesAndMe · 14/05/2018 14:20

Check in tonight. x

Willow2017 · 14/05/2018 14:35

Chasingsquirrels · 14/05/2018 17:50

Lovely Willow. Hope you have a better night tonight, last night didn't sound good Sad.

Hope you also have a better night cake, my ds's leave their alarms on when they aren't here and while it isn't middle of the night they are earlier than I want to get up.

Chasingsquirrels · 14/05/2018 17:57

Sounds like a good but busy day book, hope you enjoy tour time with dgs.

Sound like a nice menu for tomorrow 84.

Work here then picked up some new shoes for ds1 on the way home as he appears to have mislaid his at school a couple of weeks ago - went to after school badminton and came home in his kit. God knows what happened to them as they were well past their best!
Had a couple of people pick up stuff I'd listed on the local Facebook selling page, the dog crate which we didn't use much and I've sold for what I paid for - brought off Facebook in the 1st place, and old guard to fit between the boot and the car which we'd had for 20 years and not used for many years - somehow I still had the instructions.
I've put on a couple of hamster cages as well as I think the boys have passed that age.

MrsJonesAndMe · 14/05/2018 21:01

Lovely flowers Willow

Busy busy Squirrel

I'm bushed! All clean and washed ready for bed Wink

Horsemad · 14/05/2018 21:56

Lovely flowers Willow Smile very pretty.

Not much to report, nice weather, and more tomorrow hopefully.

84, that chocolate mousse sounds good Smile

MrsJ, that is SO annoying re alarm clock. Grrrr!!!

The 'fashion' show sounds nice book Wink bet you will all look fab!

Chasing, I hope tonight went well, do update if you are happy to.

Willow2017 · 14/05/2018 22:27

84 I think you are very rude having that lovely dinner tomorrow night when I am working! Save me some pud Grin

Squirrels Busy as usual. Hope you are having a nice time tonight.

Book fashion show sounds fun, you need to post a pic of the outfit Wink

My little bunch of flowers are very cheery and make me smile.

No word from HA will phone in morning.

DS2 has asked if he can join cadets, his friend is in them and has asked him (plus he has been army mad for years when playing) only thing is its on a thursday. I think it could be very good for him confidence wise too. WIll ask at work tomorrow if any chance of shift change. Cycling would be ok in light nights and good weather but not good in fog or rain due to the road. I could pick him up again easy enough. Why did it have to be thursday???
Very cold earlier on and put the heating on! Seems to be warmer now so will have to go put it off... make your mind up weather!

Chasingsquirrels · 14/05/2018 22:27

Hope you are fast asleep cake and stay that way until morning!

Hi Horsemad, nice to see you.

I'm just back. Okay....
I've had OLD profiles for quite a while, but haven't really been interested in looking - more as something to do to pass the time.
I got fed up with myself around New Year and deleted / hid my profiles. Then started looking a bit more seriously a couple of months ago.
I've basically been internet non-dating since as the only messages I get are from blokes just saying "hi", which when I've gone to the trouble of writing profile is a bit hopeless I think. And no one I message replies.
I've chatted to a couple but it's gone nowhere and have been exchanging v low key messages with this bloke for a week or so, after I ranted about the "Hi there" messages on my profile and he sent me one saying "Hi there" but went on to say he couldn't resist it and commented on something else in my profile. He is about an hour away so I'd discounted him but continued messaging and he asked if I wanted to meet.
So I was very low key about it and we went for a drink on a pub about half way between us.
I had a really nice evening Shock.

Chasingsquirrels · 14/05/2018 22:31

Cross posted Willow, could you lift share at all with the friend? I know I'd be happy to help if I was the friend's parent.

Horsemad · 14/05/2018 22:45

That sounds good Chasing - I like his sense of humour, sending a 'Hi there' after you ranting! 😉

Willow2017 · 14/05/2018 22:58

Squirrels nope as he already lives at the place the cadets are held at we are a couple of miles away.

He sounds ok. A bit of a sense of humour always a good thing. Grin

Willow2017 · 14/05/2018 23:03

Just a thought. It could all change if we manage to get a house there!

Chasingsquirrels · 15/05/2018 01:27

For some reason hedgehogs have descended on our garden at night.
The last 2 evenings Charlie has been barking at the hedge and when I've investigated with a torch there has been a hedgehog in there.
Tonight he was going crazy, running round the garden and barking incessantly.
I went to bring him in and there were 4 hedgehogs spread out over the lawn and he was running between them getting more and more wound up.

MrsJonesAndMe · 15/05/2018 06:28

Ah Squirrels I'm glad you had a good time. There are so many idiots out there who make no effort! You might have to change your name to Hedgehogs Grin We used to have them - but not for years now.

Nice to see you Horse How is work?

Ah Willow that is typical. Housing move might work though. Just sending you big (((hugs))) for such a shit time.

Nothing to report here - relatively good night. Just need to get ready for the day now. Check in later. Have a good day all x
