Dh emotionally abuses me.
He shouted at me & shoved me in front of our four year old ds for the last time on Sunday morning.
I don't want my 7 year old dd growing up seeing her parents not getting along
I don't want them to think Daddy's getting cross with Mammy is normal or ok

I can't do the rest of my life living like this.

He took letter when he got up for work because it's not on countertop anymore. Haven't heard anything from him at all. When I went to DC's room this morning, ds wasn't in his bed & I panicked a bit, found him in h's bed, guess he tried my door and it was locked as it's always me he comes to

mammynowanauntyIRL · 19/09/2018 08:08

I wouldn't expect to hear anything though he'd save it for face to face

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/09/2018 08:12

Have you got a plan for tonight if he kicks off mammy. Keys, money, an emergency bag for you all, somewhere to go?

mammynowanauntyIRL · 19/09/2018 09:28

Yes important documents & spare key of car at work. Spare clothes for dc in boot of my car & quite a few safe houses to go to. It'll be out to car & ring guards if anything happens for sure now as I've protection order & he'll be arrested.

HannahnotAgnes · 19/09/2018 12:52

I'm really worried about you Op - you're doing amazingly well but what if he properly flips?

mammynowanauntyIRL · 19/09/2018 13:12

Thanks Hannah all I can do is hope for best really

Thatsnotmybookworm · 19/09/2018 13:19

Stay safe @mammy; you sound like a very strong woman; and you will achieve the wonderful new life you and DC deserve.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 19/09/2018 16:14

Thanks that hopefully sooner rather than later.

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 19/09/2018 17:57

MrsMozart · 19/09/2018 22:01

Thinking about you.

I hope he has the sense to reel his neck in and keep it there.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 20/09/2018 05:23

@be I went to bed before he came home so I avoided the inevitable sniping

@mrs I hope so for mine and the children's sake

mammynowanauntyIRL · 21/09/2018 05:58

Meeting guard tonight to get leaflets about being a victim of crime and for an update on story so far

Thatsnotmybookworm · 21/09/2018 18:27

Hope your meeting goes well tonight @mammynowanauntyIRL.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 21/09/2018 23:58

He's signed an adult caution admitting he assaulted me Smile

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 22/09/2018 06:09

@mammymammyIRL that's good news.
Please do stay vigilant. This is still a risky time. X

mammynowanauntyIRL · 22/09/2018 06:35

Thanks think

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/09/2018 07:00

That's great mammy. I agree don't let your guard down yet

mammynowanauntyIRL · 22/09/2018 07:10

I won't still pursuing the protection order & this will only help as he's admitted assaulting me

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/09/2018 07:12

Good. You are doing great.

MrsMozart · 22/09/2018 09:17

How long 'till you're away from him?

BeUpStanding · 22/09/2018 10:00

Good that he signed a caution admitting assault - that's a proper line in the sand. Keep safe xx
