Opinions on dp going for drinks with a female friend

I'm just wondering what opinions are on a male dp saying he is going out for drinks with his female friend.

I personally am fuming about it. He knows her from his sports club and they were friends before I met him (we've been together about 18 months). I've never met her which makes it worse, I think. What makes me even more angry is that him and I rarely go out ourselves so I can't understand why he would want to take somebody else out. He swears nothing romantic has ever gone on with her and she is just a friend. To me, the fact it will just be the two of them makes it to much of a date type set-up. How would you deal with this? Should I put my foot down?

Sit down and tell him what you want in life, if he doesn't was t the same then let him go

To be honest I was originally going to reply with 'Don't be so insecure about his female friend; but then I ended up reading all your posts and am now scratching my head as to why you're with him!

So he spends all his time on his hobby (and that won't change if you have a baby, you'll just be left on your own while he swans off). He is trying to put you off having a baby with sly digs about what will happen to your body, which is the opposite of what he was saying when you first got together. Agree with the other poster who said he used that to lure you in.

You deserve better than this OP, you know you do. Time to have the baby chat, tell him how you feel. It doesn't sound like you have much to lose to be honest. And you're still young enough to meet someone else anyway. Flowers
