I have sat and crocheted and now my eyes are a bit wonky and my arms hurt!

Ooooohhhhh!!!!work just phoned. Not busy so not to go in😀 will not get paid but tbh will live with that to avoid desperately finding something to do to keep boss off my back for hours. They prob would have us digging out the car park or something😁😁

Headache not too bad... Have been busy in the kitchen. Have trouble with pastry as it comes out like playdough so Mum makes it for me. I made a Lemon Curd Tart, A Quiche Lorraine and Bread and Butter Pudding!!! I find it very therapeutic cooking. I have to have music though....

We have new houses being built next to us. Consequently the road was dug up recently for the utilities to do their stuff.... However since then the road has flooded every time its rained. We now have a MAHOOSIVE flood on the road which has spread on to our drive and under the car.........

Sounds bad 84, hope it doesn't get any worse.

Sorted through ds1s schoolbag it must weigh a stone! Managed to get a few old jotters out he was too lazy to do himself. Had lovely argument about his work attitude and his future. Him yelling abput his human rights etc so i ended up telling him he could exercise his "human rights to throw away his education" and get a crap zero hours contract job or try to live off jsa if he wants to he just wouldnt be doing it here. Grrrr arrogance of youth!
Got tkd later. This week am sitting inside with my book i think. Blooming freezing here but snow starting to melt.

I've been busy - even made soup and banana muffins/loaf and the whole downstairs is clean and tidy. Just chatting to my mum and then I'm hopping in the shower. Going to wind down now. DH had a great time in London.

My neighbour and the parish Council chairman tried to unblock the drain unsuccessfully.... They have dug a trench to divert the water. I think words will be had with the builders tomorrow.....

Crikey, 84, think you need to get some legal backing on that. Loads of photos of before (if possible) and now plus statements from neighbours and self re no problems before the work.
Wow, a day off willow. Your job sounds a bit 'no pain, no gain' to say the least, ie a pain to go into but at least some pay. Hope you're enjoying the 'gift' day.

Raining today, ugh. Still chilly wind. The rain did stop enough for short Sunday prom. therapy. Cleared what I hope is last bag of books for upstairs, hung a picture and stuck on couple of self-adhesive hooks to hold charger cables, both of which merit because I'm DIY useless. Coffee with neighbour, now feet up, lots of hot chocolate .

Raining here too and foggy.
Been to tkd and froze even inside😀
Got tea dishes to do now.

Ds1 spitting bricks as schools only open for s4-6 tomorrow so he has to go in and ds1 doesnt. It was a different story when he thought it was other way around last week😀😀😀

So tomorrow is changed diary. DD staying home, me and DH looking after him all day Wednesday, which means cancelling dentist and hairdressers . Ah well
Thing is - going to see an elderly friend and her frail husband tomorrow - think I had better ring and check she wants us to visit .

I have doctors tomorrow re my xrays. I am presuming nothing much to see if waiting 3 weeks to see gp is ok.
Had ds1 come down after yet another 'set to' and have had apologies and promises and plans made to improve himself. Have told him to not make wild expectations of himself but i will support his new fitness/healthy eating plans. He says he is thirsty a lot so taking sample up to dr tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Grey day and warmer here. Been spinning, then I'll totter off and do hospital shift. Jury still out on whether I continue with the Mondays.

Well a minor miracle this morning ds1 got up when told, used his weights and i made him porridge for brekke which he had time to eat! I am in the wrong house 😀😀
