And I’m sad

I know he has to face up to his actions and take the consequences but I’m sad and I’m going to miss him

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 22/09/2017 17:37

You are a fool

SunSeaAndSangria · 22/09/2017 17:38

Ye gods, I'm pleased he got a custodial sentence. My friends 18 year old sister was killed by a disqualified driver Angry
Get yourself some self respect and drop this criminal scum bag.

FizzyGreenWater · 22/09/2017 17:39

He drives drunk?

Why don't you look up some stories of all the people - parents, children, grannies, grandads - who have had their lives blown apart by selfish, mindless fucking little PRICKS like your lovely little cheat of a 'partner' - then decide that instead of 'missing him' and the fact he's free to risk people's lives, you're going to be pleased at this opportunity to get your head together and get the shitscrape out of your life?

Labbiemum16 · 22/09/2017 17:39

Does he have any redeeming features?? OP get your head sorted whilst he is away and move on, you are worth so much more than this oxygen thief.

clippityclock · 22/09/2017 17:40

Next you'll be having his kids and in a few years time saying how hard it is to be with a bloke who fucks around, doesn't contribute financially and beats you.

Seriously, this is either a wide or you are a very, very damaged woman who thinks this man would make anyone a decent partner. Have some therapy and block this man from your life. I wouldn't even be friends with him let alone shag him.

Ellie56 · 22/09/2017 17:40

Sorry but we can all do without this tosser on the roads.

And you can do much better than this. What is there to miss? Hmm

drinkswineoutofamug · 22/09/2017 17:41

I missed my daughter when she was in prison. Not quiet the same level maybe. I get where the OP is coming from .
My advice to you OP is to use this time apart to think of yourself. If you were 'happy' to spend time with this young man whom treated you badly, find your self worth , you seem to be lacking .

lemonsandlimes123 · 22/09/2017 17:42

yy clippityclock - How much more evidence do some women need that their partners are arseholes.

The worst is when they then have kids and bring them into the sorry situation.

DeleteOrDecay · 22/09/2017 17:43

LTB he sounds like a waster and you can do better.

Redglitter · 22/09/2017 17:43

Glàd to hear someone like that has been jailed. OP re read the post which quoted your other post about him. Is this really what you want in life. He'll drag you down. Use this time away from him to make a break and see the type of person he is.

You deserve better

AnyFucker · 22/09/2017 17:44

I think this poster just wants to talk about her "partner" and doesn't care if it is negative

krustykittens · 22/09/2017 17:44

FFS - this guy is clearly an anti-social tosser who cares nothing about others in general or about you in particular. Happy to use you for sex, and I bet any spare cash you have, but won't even treat you kindly, never mind with respect. Get your head sorted out, OP and move on. From the thread a PP found, this guy isn't even your partner What are you going to miss, being treated like shit?!

JoyceDivision · 22/09/2017 17:49

I feel rather sad that either:

You are a well educated adult that has chosen this as your future

Or

You have such low self esteem this is the best you can do.

If you were my daughter I would be utterly distraught.

For goodness sake open your eyes: if you are staying with him knowing hedoes this you are condoning his behaviour which makes you not much better.

Blushingm · 22/09/2017 17:50

I’m not a waste of tax payers money - I work, I’m a student nurse and I’ve always supported myself - I’ve never not even for one day been unemployed

No we don’t have children together

He does have good points - he can be kind and considerate and thoughtful and if I need help he will help. People can’t help who they care about, emotions are not always rational

OP posts:
Blushingm · 22/09/2017 17:50

And thank you to those that said kind things too

OP posts:
Fairenuff · 22/09/2017 17:51

Well if he drives drunk, he would happily run over other people and kill them so prison is the best place for him.

Get over it and start thinking of others before yourself.

yorkshireyummymummy · 22/09/2017 17:51

Presumably he is disqualified for drunk driving? And he still does it whilst having no licence or insurance. He gets into a car and drives it drunk. What a bastard he is. He is a potential killer. Jail won't change him and unless you want to be stuck with this dreadful human being then use this time to break free. What on earth can he possibly bring to the table in a relationship?? Face up to his actions and take the consequences - don't make me laugh. With a custodial sentance he is obviously a serial offender and must have been well over the limit.
And I can't possibly imagine what you are going to miss about him.......his drug taking? His drunkenness? His law breaking? His serial cheating? You must be mad. I'm sorry if I sound like a bitch but drunk drivers are the scum if the earth and people who condone it ( by staying with him you are condoning and accepting if his behaviour ) are not much better in my humble opinion.

ShellyBoobs · 22/09/2017 17:52

He must have an absofuckinglutely eeeeenormous cock.

Emmageddon · 22/09/2017 17:52

Use the time he is in prison to sort yourself out, build up your self-esteem, and get rid of this awful man.

Anyone who drinks and drives is scum.

Fekko · 22/09/2017 17:52

Oh well, as a nurse you will get your fill of people injured and killed by drunk drivers.

Carriecakes80 · 22/09/2017 17:53

You do sound like you need to value yourself a little more, you obviously realise he's a dick, he's the kind of person who destroys entire families by drink driving, or drug-driving. My dad is a paramedic and the amount of lives he has seen destroyed, not just for the person the car hits, but the entire family who have to pick up the pieces.
Please, get strong, and be with someone who is decent, not with someone who could contribute to more lost lives simply because he couldn't give a shit.
He sounds selfish, nasty, and a complete dick. Why on earth are you not running for the hills!
xxxxxxx You deserve so much more.

DaemonPantalaemon · 22/09/2017 17:53

People can’t help who they care about, emotions are not always rational

FFS. How low does your bar have to be to use this sort of bilge to justify such a stupid choice? Stop reading stupid advice columns and get some pride.

Blushingm · 22/09/2017 17:54

And I do t condone what he has done - myself have a clean license, I don’t drive even after a mouthful of alcohol - I would never condone drink driving - I don’t think there’s any excusing his behaviour and I’ve told him so - many times

And I will NOT be having children with him -

OP posts:
IllBeAtTheBarIfYouNeedMe · 22/09/2017 17:54

I actually think love is ultimately a choice. You can care for someone but not hitch your wagon to them.

You deserve better

UnbornMortificado · 22/09/2017 17:54

Been there, stuck by the arsehole for 28 months who repaid me back by trying to murder me.

Huge, huge back story involving MH issues and the death of our son but I won't bore you.

Men like my ex and your partner are scum. I ended up doing the freedom programme and sorting my own MH problems and lack of self respect out.

I'm now happily married with a baby and a secure family unit that was all I wanted in the first place.

You deserve better, I really would recommend doing the freedom programme it might make you see sense.
