For those having a go at losing a bit of weight, this is my latest trick. I am aiming to lose 1.6 ounces a day. Yep, that's right ounces. It's nothing, right? A tiny amount. A mere miniscule.
But - here's the clever thing - over ten days that is a pound lost. That's 3lb a month and 30lbs in ten months. By shedding just that teeny, weeny little amount each day, I could be two stone lighter this year.
For those who love a graph, I've plotted my weight loss line and weigh in every morning. As long as I'm under that line, I'm on track. I can still have whatever I want to eat and don't have to do any particular exercises.
My weight does fluctuate from day to day but if it starts creeping up towards the line, I just rein it in a bit. It's really easy and is helping me to be more moderate, rather than the 'all or nothing' I've struggled with in the past.
So, in the first month of this year I have lost the required 3lbs plus an extra pound so am well under my line today and ready to lose the next 3lb this month
