I am feeling so down and tonight I found myself sobbing out load.
I am finding this so hard. Even though I have a supportive family and friends.

Hello there Hush, Hope your day has been OK. my candy crush soda saga problem is that I've spent too much time on it. I'm on Level 358! And I'm stuck again x

louisatwo · 18/02/2016 22:53

Hush,
I've been out for a nice meal this evening and am now too full to sleep.
Chicon, - I'm on level 433 - Blush . I only allow myself to go on it in the evening - but it's very addictive!!
I've been watching 'Suits' on Netflix - quite enjoyable.
Good night all.

PiscoSour66 · 18/02/2016 23:54

Yes, they are back at school on Monday. They are in denial! Actually, they are good company and I will miss them. I can take them anywhere knowing that they will rise to the occasion, but my goodness do they fight at home! But that's normal, but not good for me!

notonyurjellybellynelly · 19/02/2016 03:46

Hi Husha, Im hoping you're all cosied up in a nice soft bed with no plans of getting up anytime soon because its so cosy!

You asked how I am? Im fine thank you. Im now looking forward to going away tomorrow. I know its for the best because these last 2 days if my son has approached me to talk to me he's put his hands behind his back to show that its going to be ok, that he's not going to hurt himself ( and in return me). Its a dreadful state of affairs and Im hoping when Im back things are very different, that he cant quite literally see my fear as invisible as I was hoping it was

On a different note - Im off to the hairdressers today for my usual monthly lop it off and hide all the grey pls session. Then Im going to get my boy some of the small hard shelled easter eggs they've got in markies. You know, the ones in the wee packets. He loves them and he'll get a packet of them everyday Im away - which he'll then try and run off by running round the pool 20 times. Grin If only it was that easy eh? Grin

TV wise - Ive been watching factual stuff this week, but I am also enjoying Sheltand.

What are you up to today?

xxxxxxx

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/02/2016 05:07

Hi Chicon. Thank you for your message. My day was not too bad, thanks. Candy Crush is so addictive. I hope you manage to get unstuck soon xx

Hi Louisa,
I am glad that you have been out for a nice meal. I hope you manage to sleep.
I am only on about 106. I was higher on the original Candy Crush.
Glad you are enjoying 'suits' on Netflix.
Good night xx

Good morning Pisco. It is nice to have your children home from school. Plus nice not to be in the normal routine. It is good that you can take them anywhere and that they can rise to the occasion. My two are the same. They had their moments!
I hope you have a good day xx

Hi notonyurjellybellynelly.
I am sorry but I am still on the sofa. I was in a deep sleep but my young dog woke me up to go out so then I was wide awake!

I am glad that you are fine and I hope you gave a safe trip tomorrow. I hope that you have a relaxing break as you really deserve it. I am sure that your son will be well looked after.

Enjoy your time at the hairdressers.

I like those little mini eggs too. The trouble is I cannot stop once I start and I don't have a pool to run around! I am sure he will enjoy them.

I am glad that you are enjoying factual stuff on TV and Shetland.

Today is the first day I have not had an appointment of one kind or another!
I think my son is coming back from Uni this afternoon.
So apart from the usual mundane stuff I have nothing else planned.
Have a super trip tomorrow. How long does it take to get to Beirut?
Bye for now xx

Good morning Hush. You were up early! Have you had anything nice for breakfast? I need to do food shopping today and then after that we'll see where the day takes us. It's lovely and sunny at the moment but heavy rain is forecast later. Are you able to meet up with anyone today?

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/02/2016 11:48

Good Morning Pisco.
Yes I was up early because of my younger dog wanting to go out.
No I have not had anything nice for breakfast. I have had a cup of proper coffee and a cup of tea.
It is sunny here but when I walked the dogs although it was sunny there was a shower of fine rain.

I hope you find something nice to do with your kids after the food shopping.
I think my youngest son is coming home this afternoon.
I have got to try and get some housework done.

Enjoy your day xx

Hush I just read this thread and wanted to add my support. One of my best friends found that her H had been having an affair for 2 years in November, so she is experiencing all your are going through.

We all feel very betrayed though as we socialised with them when he was seeing OW and so he lied to all their family and friends. However despite being a believing Christian he seems not to put what he is doing (has moved in with OW while not divorced yet) in the category of adultery.

Cheaters always seem to rewrite history and are always the exception to the morality that they expect from everyone else.

Anyway, you are a lovely person and have raised loving, caring young men. Just wanted to join your crowd of supporters xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/02/2016 20:49

Thank you FrancisdeSales for your support.
I am so sorry that your friend is going through this too.
My husband is committing adultery but will not admit to it!
Or at least not to the solicitor!
Thank you for saying what you have and I hope your friend gets through this awful time and finds a happier life xx

Evening Hush. How are you? Has your son come to stay?
We didn't bother going shopping in the end. Went out and then had a takeaway pizza. Tomorrow we'll have to forage for food in the garden!
Anything interesting on the t.v.?

Chiconbelge · 19/02/2016 22:33

Hi there Hush hope you are OK. I've got news - I'm off to Austria tomorrow for a week. I'm going cross country skiing. Because my work is so difficult at the moment I'm going to have to work in the afternoons but that's OK. I'm taking my iPad so will be saying hello to you and all these other lovely ladies. I'm a bit fat and unfit from eating too much and working too much so I will have to go easy on the apple strudel! I hope your evening is going OK. And I hope that sofa is at least a comfy one. Xxx

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/02/2016 22:35

Evening Pisco.
I am alright thank you. My son is home until Sunday. We are going to see 'The Good Dinosaur' in the morning.
Glad you got out and then had a takeaway pizza.
Good luck with foraging for food in the garden tomorrow!
We are watching a film called 'Kingsman. The Secret Service'.
Good night xx

Hi there Chicon.
I am Okay thanks. My son is home again until Sunday.
Enjoy your trip to Austria. Do you enjoy skiing? Sorry you will have to work in the afternoons. Enjoy the apple strudel. Just cut down on the cream!
Do you have a high powered job?
My evening is going OK. I hope yours is too?
The sofa is comfy but I gave my shoulder/neck problem back so I will have to be careful.
Enjoy your weekend xx

I am going to give in to temptation and say ... As your son is home with you why not sleep upstairs in a bed? Do you think you could give it a little try? it might do your neck and back some good.

When I say give in to temptation I just mean that I'm tempted to say it but I don't want to nag you, dear Hush.

PiscoSour66 · 19/02/2016 22:55

Chic if you're going cross country skiing I reckon you'll need to eat all the strudel you can manage! Cross country is surely the best excuse! Have a good trip.
I'll leave you in peace then Hush. Have a good outing tomorrow and enjoy the film. We went to see Dad's Army. My kids were disappointed it wasn't the original cast, so I had to explain that most of them have died. Oh dear.
Good night xxx

PiscoSour66 · 19/02/2016 22:58

I was going to say the same thing Chic. Please try a bed Hush.
Good night again xxxx

Hello, hello! Yes, good, thanks and nice busy. How about you? Did you go and see the Dinosaur film? Any good? X

Breadandwine · 20/02/2016 16:05

Hi Hush

I was awake early, since my DD and my 2-yr-old GS were leaving today after a week's stay - which was brilliant.

So I've just tried to have an afternoon nap - only to find the next door neighbours are having double glazing installed! So I'm on here instead. I'll probably have a nap after dinner! Smile

Pizza day today, so looking forward to that - probably top mine with hummus, m-rooms and s-d-tomatoes.

I wrote this yesterday - and, for various reasons, never got round to posting it:

Good evening to all the wonderful women on this thread! Flowers

Hope your evening goes well for you today, Hush! Plenty of rubbish TV, Candy Crush, all that sort of thing. Perhaps make a batch of bread for you to share with your neighbour. It's all about distraction, I guess - anything to keep your mind occupied.

Which is possibly why your doc suggested looking for a job. But, since jobs are not easy to come by, what about thinking about volunteering?

Lots of advantages to volunteering - especially if you find the right 'niche', as it were. One of which is that it can often lead to paid employment somewhere down the line.

You've already said you enjoy cooking, Hush, and you're a successful bread maker. It would be a huge step, I know, but what about offering your bread making skills to a local playgroup or pre-school? They'd grab you with both hands, I know! You could use that as a stepping stone into teaching, if this is something that interests you.

Not something to jump into right now, perhaps, but something to think about for the future?

Hope you and your DS are having a good afternoon together, Hush!

Hushabyemountain98 · 20/02/2016 16:05

Hello Pisco, Glad you are having a good and busy day. The Dinosaur film was very good a bit sad in places. It was quite funny sitting with my son and loads of kiddies. They were all very well behaved.

Feeling a bit sad as I know what a certain person is doing today. I am trying really hard to put it out of my mind. I should really hate him but I still love him. Here come the tears again! This is unbearable! xx
