TBH mine is great. I have had my issues with her over the years but they have mainly been pettiness on my part. The only current issue is how things have to be arranged around my 2yo nephew and my own children (5 and 2) have to fit in with what suits him best. DH agrees with me on this one, but it is really just an irritation because DS and DD adore DN. And it is better than with my Mum where DS and DD have to fit in with what suits Mum best.

I get on better with MIL (to be) than my own mother. My own mother couldn't give a toss about my kids whereas DP's mum sees them every day without fail and loves them almost as much as we do.
