I'm just looking for someone to say Yes, been there, done that and it was ok.

I haven't seen them in about fifteen months, we are meeting at a relatives, so it's safe, and I will drive so I can leave if I need to, but I'm just very very anxious about it.

Also glad to hear you're feeling reasonably OK about it. It was just a huge step for you to make so the odd rocky moments aren't unexpected.

The little twinges and pangs of doubt and guilt is just your old training and habits of thinking trying to jump in, I'd be surprised if you didnt have them to be honest. Theyre just like when you stop smoking but still sometimes want a cigarette out of nowhere - its an old habit of thinking that is no longer part of your new better life :)

Thank you, that's so reassuring. I'm feeling really sad about it at the moment, and having to remind myself that if I spoke to them, things wouldn't magically be how I would like them to be, they are the same people, and won't have changed.
