I am horrified, ex-p has hospitalised some poor girl he's been sleeping with. They were having very rough sex and he has severely damaged her insides. I get the impression this is someone he has been meeting up with specifically for rough sex so it was consensual and entirely accidental. He is mortified and has spent the whole night and day in hospital with her.

We have only been split up for 4 months and he's been sleeping around loads. It doesn't bother me but we also have a 2yo dd together so I have to prioritise her.

He is already having counselling and anger management and has just been told by his therapist to go to the gp regarding sex addiction.

Wwyd? I am in shock. I don't know what to do for best. I have to know what happens with it all so I can make decisions regarding him seeing dd but I don't want to get too involved. The whole thing makes me feel a bit sick :(

Does it really matter what a bunch of Jeremy Clarkson-lite dickwads are saying somewhere else on the internet?

Hi Chrissy - hope you don't mind but we've withdrawn your post; don't really want to lay a trail of breadcrumbs back to this thread, if you see what we mean.

OK if you can't get through to Women's Aid at present, things you can do include putting together all the evidence you have of this revolting man's behaviour. If there are any nasty emails or texts, keep them. If there have been any incidents of him abusing you that have needed either medical attention for you or police involvement, make a note of them. Otherwise, make a list of all the unpleasant things he has done, and include any stuff there is independent evidence of (has he ever been arrested, charged or imprisoned for any violent or antisocial behaviour?)

Right now, with no court order in place regarding contact between him and DC, you can stop contact : just shut the door in his face and ignore any phone calls or emails. It will be up to him to take legal action in order to see DC but the more evidence you have of what a shitbag he is, the better.

But to make this work, you have to accept completely that he is a horrible human being, an enemy to you and DC and that you want him as far out of your lives as it's possible to get him.

YOu certainly need to let someone in authority know about this - then if he does become violent or harrasses you -they know exactly what he is capable of.

DO NOT LET HIM IN THE HOUSE AGAIN. That is a place of safety - change the locks if need be.
