I can reach orgasm through penetration when I'm on top but as some posters said, it is actually clitoral stimulation that triggers it because of the position. It doesn't work in any other position for me or hasn't yet anyway!

58 years old here and never had a PIV orgasm and I have had in my younger years a far few partners.

Not me either I'm afraid. Have come close a couple of times over the year, but never actually managed it.

Nope, I'm not inhibited and I still can't come solely through penetration. It's not a woman's fault if she doesn't, it might just be the way it is. However, I will not stop trying .

I've had a vaginal inside orgasm I think doggy style and with an ex bf whilst staying at his brother's flat house sitting (brother was away!) I was shocked at the intensity of it. It was the mattress apparently v firm and even his brother told him that it was "good for shagging on!".

Londonlost- any man who thinks his exes all orgasmed through penetration, and they did so either most times or every time, has in all likelihood encountered some faking! You are perfectly normal whereas he is rather deluded. Given that he is making you feel bad, I can definitely see why they may have pretended just to shut him up.

During penetration, yes, if the correct positioning of pubic bones means my clitoris gets conveniently stimulated, but I wouldn't orgasm simply from having a penis, or anything else, move in and out of my vagina without my clit being touched, or moved, or pressed.

Raxa, you are not alone. I have never had one either and I don't even masturbate as I'm not thus inclined, therefore I can't even tell dh what he needs to do as I have no idea.

I find it easier with something inside, to grip on, but I'm fully prepared to accept I'm not normal. Also there might be some other stimulation going on, it's not just penetration. Can't remember that far back to be sure about what happens at all, really.
