Dodgy text msg from DH....not meant for me

My husband is away this weekend on a works conference.... The whole company is there.

I've woken up to a text saying 'lol...have had to come up. It's 321'.

I feel a bit sick but am I reading too much into this?

Oh dear, I bet you're feeling awful. It could be completely innocent - meeting a male colleague for a drink?? But tbh he probably realises he's sent it to you by mistake and I would look for shifty signs when he gets home. You poor thing

Was is sent at 3.21?? Could just be that some were staying up really really late but he went to bed at that time?

I'm struggling to get the 'dodgy' bit. It doesn't seem that intimate or sexual to me?

He's telling someone his room number? Did you reply at all?

Sounds to me like he was just texting someone tired, saying he had gone to bed as it was so late? Assuming 3.21 was the time?

I'd text back and ask what he meant - he's bound to realise at some point he's texted you.

It looks like his room number but doesn't sound dodgy to me either. Bet he's just been drinking with work mates and is telling them his room number for the morning

My first thought that he's had to go to bed and it's 3.21am and he's wrecked/knackered. Ring the hotel and ask to be put through to room 321? If he answers, it's a bit more dodgy!

Was he sharing with a male colleague ? He might have gone up early and the colleague might be pissed and forgot room number.

He could have left his jacket and some one was returning it.

He could have left his wallet and some one was returning it.

There could be hundreds of reasons, don't suspect the worst. Have you cause to doubt him?

What about texting back & saying you've got this text, but don't think it was for you, but if he lets you know who it's for, you'll forward it to them? That way he has to tell you the history of that text. Hopefully it's just something innocent & possibly alcohol fuelled nonsense with work colleagues.

Sounds like he might've been out late and bowed out.

Just reply and ask, it's probably nothing.

If he was with a lady they would have left together or relatively close together (incase not to be seen). They would have planned meeting up. He wouldn't just leave with out telling her he was going to bed OR where his room is.

Wait till he comes home and ask him what room 321 was like. You'll be able to tell whether to be suspicious by his behaviour over the next week.

I don't think it sounds dodgy. It could actually mean 321 the game.......hope you are ok.

Maybe he left his wallet or coat sitting down with the group and someone is going to bring it up to him. I'd ask him anyway. X

He is letting you know that he partied until 3:21. And it's now in bed. I don't see anything wrong with it. Just reply.
