Thanks so much Winefield. It really does sort the men from the boys I guess. Still have all that Rules shit embedded in my consciousness. He is lovely; we didn't stop talking, he asked me lots of questions, kept picking bits of fluff of my jumper as an excue to touch me etc. Very warm vibes but now; no sodding text. Do ypou think if there is no text by Wednesday dump and move on or leave on back burner and move on?

I disagree with wine just a bit here. Some men will disappear as soon as they've shagged, whether the first or 50th date.

Some though will give up and try someone easier if they can't get you into bed in the first couple of dates.

What I found with this one (and what is a bit of an alrm bell) is that he did start talking about sexual preferences. On a first date (aswell as all the usual getting to know you stuff) Hmmmmm. I need to be more careful.

Mr car not sure texted him about picnic for next week , it be very basic but he travels to see me so don't want to take advantage but not sure the yes meant the to it or to yeah to butty suggestion , well see.

The sex wasn't great as we didn't have any condoms and I therefore felt very frustrated...piv didn't happen. I rekon if it did then it would be great but some guys are very shallow. kitty glad you're feeling a bit brighter! It sounds like a very difficult situation for you. I've been thinking about you today. We've all been lonely from time to time. I don't have anything better or other to suggest than the very good advice upthread. I tend to be of the 'nail on a smile' school of thought and looking for joy in little things. It is difficult. It gets better.
