I had quite a nice message from a guy on POF. Then I looked at his profile and it was a long list of sentences in bold with lots of !!! along the lines of
"IF YOU'RE A PRINCESS STOP READING!"
"IF YOU'RE SKIN IS GLOWING ORANGE, STOP READING!"
"IF YOU CAN'T MAKE TIME FOR A DATE, STOP READING!"

and so on.... So I sent him a reply that said, "Your message sounded quite promising but then I looked at your profile...and I stopped reading."

Can't decide if he actually seems like a really nice guy or if I'm just a bit bored & desperate & clutching at straws. He's no George Clooney but I'm sick to the back teeth of arrogant men and serial shaggers...

Yoga Yes, he sounds sane. The only thing to be suspicious of is the suggestion of a sock and sandal combo just out of site.

as for Socks n Sandals man - I'm 41 and I guess reasonably attractive. TBH I normally look for guys a bit better looking but I'd really like to meet someone NICE for a change.

Sigh...this is why I hate POF & OD in general. I get the feeling either of those guys is setting myself up for failure. The first one because he may turn out to be lovely but then I probably wont' fancy him and the second because he's gorgeous but he'll no doubt be an ass. So why bother. hmmph

I'm middle aged too, but I'm sure I've seen a photo of Yoga before (tattoo?) and she's gorgeous.
In fact, everyone I've seen on this thread is certainly better than the od average.
He does look nice but not in the same ballpark as Yoga IMO.
