Back in the sack

I'll spare you all the gory details but I've recently become a dad. Babies arrival was more than a little traumatic and I am/was expecting it to take a while before we resumed "bedroom activities". We've talked about it and naturally Mrs Verminator is very anxious about getting back on it. However we still haven't even taken any small steps. She is even reluctant to kiss as she thinks this is going to lead to more. She has some confidence issues. I'm really not sure what to do or what advice I want. Just a little tired of being rebuffed. What is a reasonable time to wait?

AF i'm slightly Blush about taking his post at face value this morning.

Been out all day and was really hoping OP would have returned to let us know if it was twaddle or not.

However - even though it does seem unlikely to be the truth - i stand by my post offering support. You never know for sure, y'know? If it's a cry for help? Or just a load of crap Smile

I feel the same Misty, but I am leaning toward AF being right on this one as usual

misty0 · 14/06/2012 19:00

Yes. Yes she most probably is right again Grin

MarySA · 14/06/2012 19:01

Back in the sack. yuck. no wonder the OP's wife isn't keen.

JacqueslePeacock · 14/06/2012 19:10

I have no doubt whatsoever that AF is right. A charitable interpretation is that the OP was joking. Hmm

My skin is crawling. That poor woman.

It is not normal or acceptable to push for sex from someone you know doesn't want to have sex with you.

Thanks for the relationship advice. i don't need it though. You misunderstand my experience.

And I didn't say it was acceptable for men to be offensive. I said they have a tendency to communicate on forums such as this using different words to women. Not the same thing at all.

However, I do not wish to appear as Verminator's champion. I just thought it fair to point out that some posters here are only seeing a part of the full picture. I guess we all bring our experiences to the board.

That wasn't directed at you shift, it was directed at the op.
