Cos me and my mates are sick of staying in gossiping and drinking wine on a Friday night. Why does there seem to be more single women then men?? Smile

I suggested this months ago and was beaten with sticks, people reckoned that MNetters were too vulnerable and that it would attract Peeeeeeedos as we all have children. Curse them.

I pointed out that as a LP in the arse end of nowhere (SW), I am in every evening, cannot join macrame classes and the local internet dating trawl has only produced people with a higher than average number of fingers.

You may claw your men back from Shirley and post them to me. i am much nicer anyway.

Thing is Pan, I'm near London and have gazillions of children!

I'll be happy if any potential men have a body like Chris's and are a bit Alpha male alongside being all caring and empathy. TIA Grin

I have a friend to pimp. Derbs. Never married, no kids, workaholic, opinionated, late for everything, prone to navel-gazing. Infuriating in many ways and no-one has ever had a more stressful job than he does (apparently). Successful, solvent. Mid 40s - he's been my BF since we were 16 and did A Level Politics together.

I look like Quasimodo's less attractive brother......after a particularly unpleasant road crash...........I only dream about hooking up with a woman of your beauty. Outta my league.Sad

Grin

Another lone parent in SW, I so know what you mean about local internet dating! Grin

Too many of theses recommendations don't want 'baggage', hmmm, rules out a lot then?? Surely its almost impossible to hit 40 and not have some sort of history? I for one, would not be without my wonderful 3DCs, but it doesn't preclude me having time for a man in my life!

awww Pan ta muchly!!

i am in the NW (near Lakes) so Grt Manc might not be too far away if obv god's gift.....

i like the bring a spare man party but i don't have a spare man.....my ex has just got himself a russian gf but that's a whole t'other thread!!

hobbgoblin · 18/06/2011 15:11

letitlie just said was I've been thinking about some of the more recent posts. If children and ex spouses are considered baggage then, well...

Oh Pan you can't be Quasimodo's brother, you can't. I still love you for your opinions anyway.

odd isn't it when you hit 40ish. Women often say they suddenly become 'invisible' after years of being 'noticed' and turning some heads, and being gently flirted with. Same for blokes a bit in a way. Conversation has become just that!!

working the pitch here! Offering 3 very attractive and available people here!! All mobile, with kids issues worked out. Roll up!

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 15:15

and I adore you for your face and hair and all round chutzpah!!

'baggage'. yuuurgh. precious little, and not so little, things, yes.

as far as i'm concerned the only baggage i have is my large-ish handbag.

Pan - am sure you are very lovely! you may need a jaunty hat the way you're carrying on, either a nice weddingly one or a pimp one
