Cos me and my mates are sick of staying in gossiping and drinking wine on a Friday night. Why does there seem to be more single women then men?? Smile

Someone could have my daddy?! He's proper lovely! Beautiful house in the country. Widower. Trouble is he is early 60s so may be a bit old?

Lot 2 - 29yo cousin of DH. Bloody lovely bloke. Last GF was 42. One child that he pays for but never gets to see (ex gf is cowbag). Kind, generous, a bit short, great at hoovering and general housekeeping (used to come and stay when I first had DS to help with housework!). An alround nice guy which is probably why he keeps getting shat on!

A TICTAC?

Poor man Sad

Chips - I'll have yours as well Wink

I did a thread once on the men on dating sites. It was dead funny, I doubt I'll be laughing though when I actually start to feel ready to date again though.

does he iron - if so, can i make a bid for lot 2 moody?

choux · 18/06/2011 11:57

Hob - that was a typo. I meant your history with HIM.

Not sure if he irons or not, I certainly don't so he has never had the opportunity to demonstrate skills in that department. I shall ask him.

Well it was only an off the cuff offer - I hadn't preprepped my profile in anticipation!

I'm 38, great job, friends, live in London and would love to meet someone in their 40's or very early fifties. It's becoming increasingly difficult as the men I seem to meet turn out to be married and are attempting to have a bit n the side (not my cuppa at all!).

So come on, pass over your single friends/brothers/dads Wink

There will always be more women than men as some end up in prison or live down the pub ....

oh choux, no. We will remain good friends but that's all. :)

I'm linking to a photo to dispel myth of me being dark and foxy. and to try and get a date I am a fake blonde, evidently.

Mutha, I thought you were supposed to be all Richard Hammond not sleek and beautifully groomed?!!

Think Salmon may have bagged Chris as her compliment was more, um, forward.

I'm showing an unhealthy interest in this thread. It is raining here.

I'm 37, one small and unobtrusive child Grin, good job, sane, solvent, own teeth and hair, decent legs and ds spends pretty much every weekend with his dad so I've got time to date - come on then, line 'em up!

I don't belong on this thread, but friend of mine, in her early fifties with several single female friends, realised they all had at least one wonderful eligible male friend who they personally wouldn't date for one reason or another. Friends too long, no chemistry, that sort of thing.

So they held a Bring A Spare Man party. None of them had trouble convincing their single male friends to come along.

My friend got engaged to one she met there.
