Cos me and my mates are sick of staying in gossiping and drinking wine on a Friday night. Why does there seem to be more single women then men?? Smile

Hi, I've just joined Mumsnet and this is my first post. What a great site and its so nice to feel that some of the stuff i think about is soooo normal! Im a single mum to a 3 year old and Ive been single since pregnancy and I really would like to meet someone. Internet dating isnt working for me, I seem to keep getting messed around. Any pointers, advice, for a 39 year old who would like to see 40 with more than a 3 year old crawling into her bed in the early hours!! I live in the Lichfield area...

Why do you all say that there are more women than men? Surely there are the same number of men as there are women - why would nature provide more men than women?

Plus I don't know ANY couples where the women is in her 20's and the man in his 40's - i've never seen that situation IN MY LIFE!!!!

So the men in their 40's must be out there somewhere no?

Bumped into this old thread and wondered about any happy ever afters?

minouminou · 10/02/2013 09:51

I know one!!!!!
About to turn 40 this year, own business (blacksmith). Well educated but a bit disorganised.
Reasonably domesticated, desperate to have kids, but is getting a bit set in his ways.

We need someone to rescue him!
Own teeth, sprinkling of hair.
Someone!!! Take him. Berkshire area.

MrsHelsBels74 · 10/02/2013 22:30

I do but he's not someone I'd wish on my worst enemy!

TDada · 10/02/2013 23:38
