Which is news to me Hmm

He left as usual this morning.

This is not like him at all, he is the most honest, trustworthy man I've ever known, so what the hell is he up to?

Phone his mobile but no answer

I feel all over the place atm, non related, so I am trying not to panic.

I am going to ring him.

spookyhalloweenFluffypomkins · 22/10/2010 14:02

Phipps,what time is he home?

Im sure its nothing to worry about. x

LolsMummy · 22/10/2010 14:05

My DH is the only bloke i think in the world who wont get a mobile, and it drives me mad not being able to call him sometimes. He could be upto anythung during the day and i would nver know :)

phipps · 22/10/2010 14:06

Have spoken to him.

Was weird because his boss was next to him.

Have grilled him and questioned him and I think it is me being daft.

He go curry for our dinner.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 22/10/2010 14:07

Oh gosh I was hoping there would be an update by the time I got to the end of the thread.

memoo - really hope all is ok.

phipps - fingers crossed it is something good weird and not bad weird. Or just something weird that doesn't affect you. DH's boss resigned a few weeks ago, and it really threw him, but didn't change anything for him at work. Infact he is even happier because the new boss is really really good and they have developed a good relationship.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 22/10/2010 14:08

Oh x-posts. Glad it's all ok :) He probably didn't want his boss to know he was ringing his wife the minute he got out of a meeting Grin

LolsMummy · 22/10/2010 14:08

Typical phipps, i think they just like to worry us for nothing, enjoy your curry Smile

spookyhalloweenFluffypomkins · 22/10/2010 14:08

good phipps, Enjoy your Curry. x

RitaLynn · 22/10/2010 14:10

I do sometimes wonder how good mobile phones are. Obviously they have very practical purposes, but I do wonder how my parents have been happily married for 35 years, without ever having had a mobile phone. It seems to cause more harm than good.

Anyway, I hope everything is ok for memoo.

grapeandlemon · 22/10/2010 14:11

Hope all is ok memoo

Eviedidit · 22/10/2010 14:12

Yay glad it's all ok again phipps enjoy your curry.

It's not a good sign that memoo hasn't come back - how long has it been?
If I knew I had left 20 odd people hanging on the net & had good news I would try to post a quick reply Grin

phipps · 22/10/2010 14:12

He wouldn't worry me on purpose.

He just rang me. He's bought me a new washing machine Grin.

Magicmayhem · 22/10/2010 14:18

make it 21 people... I can't get on with stuff till I know things are ok with her...

Phrenology · 22/10/2010 14:19

Oh dear.

phipps · 22/10/2010 14:20

I hope everything is okay with you and your dh, memoo.

Pancakeflipper · 22/10/2010 14:20

Right I feel like a total idiot now. Blush

He has been planning a surprise for me and booked the day off work to go shopping this morning. He has bought me a present that I'm not allowed to open til tonight. He has also bought food which he is going to cook for us this evening.

He has even arranged for the DC to stay at our friends for the night.

I've had a bit of a rough time since DD was born, have suffered with PND, and he thought we could do with some time just for us! We haven't been out or had any time alone since DD came along 13 months ago.

He is such a lovely, thoughtful man and I am so mortified that I even doubted him for a second Blush

His collague at work was surpose to say that he was in a meeting if I called so as not to spoil the surprise but she forgot, she sent him a text and was gutted that she'd said the wrong thing

thanks for all the messages x

Enjoy your night, I always jump to awful conclusions if I can't get hold of DH or DD and start imagining terrible scenarios.
